Back in the room,
Arya's quartz-colored eyes were practically shooting lasers at the wolf that lay on the bed even as her face was red in embarrassment because of her grandmother's words.
Her grandma had once again sold her out. Throwing her under the bus every single chance she gets. At this point, she was really beginning to consider if she was really her Nana.
Amaris glanced at Arya and couldn't help but feel drawn to her red cheeks. Getting up slightly, he poked her cheeks with his fingers and was quite surprised at how soft they felt.
Immersed in his savory, Amaris didn't notice the deathly stare Arya was giving him until she asked quietly,
"What on earth are you doing?"
"Hmm? Feeling your cheeks. They look so red and feel warm to the touch." Amaris said in total wonder as he kept poking at her face, using both hands this time.
His words made Arya so upset that for the very first time, she moved to hit the wolf.
