Arya ran to Amaris's limpid form sprawled on the grass and heard him ask who she was. 'What did he mean by that?' she thought but decided to ask him later as she noticed his eyelids closing slowly and tried to keep him awake.
"Mari?! Mari! Wake up! Mari!" Arya called out incessantly yet received no response from the wolf making her slightly worried.
She didn't like the wolf and thought he was a huge disturbance in her life. She sometimes felt he was like an extra long commercial break in a really good episode of a series.
But that didn't mean she wanted him to die!
"Wake up! Amaris please!" her voice faltered as tears pooled at her eyes.
The echo of the distressed voice of a frightened girl travelled and made its way into the ears of a dark tiny creature perched on a tree branch few meters away.
Tilting its head to the side, Roe silently watched the interaction of the human and wolf silently in contemplation.
