It's just that…. it suddenly stopped…" Elis frowned, looking quite confused as she voiced her findings from the infrared diagram on her computer screen.
This was the reading of the array that would always automatically be sent to her when it was triggered. It was also what notified her of the presence of the fallen fadas.
It was just a little strange today.
Usually, the array was modified to kill or incapacitate any powerful being or magic that stepped into the garden but why did it suddenly stop working when it was so close to doing so?
The fadas couldn't activate the array unless they used a high amount of magic such as the one used to take someone's life so they were both unrelated.
