"Tell me the truth, young lady. I'm not going to hurt you."
"I… I can't! I can't bring it back to this place! Everything is wrong!"
Martina's room was filled with voices. It was strange as no one dared to visit a patient in the middle of the night.
Aside from the nurses and security, no one was conscious enough to witness their serious conversation.
But Martina remembered that they weren't alone. Her mother was sleeping peacefully at the right corner and she might hear everything.
It would only be another problem. As much as she has still time, she must convince him to leave her alone. Ask him to let her live the life she has before.
No one would ever understand their feelings. A werewolf was born and fated to a werewolf, and a human was meant to be with someone either.
"I am begging you, please… please don't you dare to come here again and see me! It would only cause trouble between you and me!" she coldly said and turned around on him.
But no one has ever dared to do it to the alpha. He was an honorable werewolf and all of the pack members treated him like a king.
One in a million people, Martina Green was the first woman who broke the rules of werewolves. She had the guts, talked back to the alpha, and underestimated his abilities.
"Do you know what are the punishments of your actions?"
"Do you know what kind of creature I am?"
Martina blinked her eyes and avoided his gaze. She couldn't utter a single word as the man before she was not a typical human being.
He was a creature that could live hundreds of years. A creature who has the ability to transform and manipulate everyone around him.
She replied, "For me, you're a man with feelings like me. But there was one thing I couldn't find understand!"
"You don't have to understand, Martina! I am here because of you because I want to know everything about you!" His voice rose as he clenched his jaw, staring at her pale face. "How can I forget the woman I'd chosen that night? Tell me how to forget you, if that's what you want to say right now?"
Blue Dobinson wasn't a typical werewolf and he had proved it through his words and troublesome actions. Suddenly, his chest was tensed up as it moved and shrugged.
He didn't understand why Martina forgot everything about him. There was only one reason that frightened a human-like her—werewolf was dangerous and before it brought her life to the verge of death, she had chosen to prevent it.
However, as long as he tried to please Martina, the more it felt uneasy with his presence.
"I said I don't know who you are, Mister! If you don't leave right now, I'll be going to scream!" Martina said harshly. "Dare me, you won't be able to see me again if you're being caught by the securities!"
Her eyes widened, forcing Blue to leave her alone for good. Yet, even with how hard she convinced a naughty alpha with different beliefs, she would always fail at the end of the argument.
Martina held her breath for a moment. She looked at him as he rolled up the sleeve of his white, shining robe. His expression had changed quickly that confused the vulnerable woman before his eyes.
Both of them stared at each other's eyes and held their breaths when Martina's mother moved and changed her sleeping position. If they won't do anything, Blue would be caught in action.
As quickly as he contemplated, Blue grabbed her hand and laid down on the hospital bed with Martina. He was holding her hand tightly as they were together in bed.
"W-what are you doing?" She asked surprisingly.
Yet, Blue Dobinson winked at her and put his index finger to her pale, dry lips. They were an inch away from each other's face, one wrong move, a sweet, passionate kissing scene would occur.
"Shh, your mother is awake!" he whispered that surprised Martina. Her heart skipped a bit. She didn't know how to convince her mother that he was not her boyfriend or whatever they called it. "Snore loudly! She's coming towards us now!"
Even if it confused her; Martina snored loudly stopped her mother from taking another step closer to her. She thought there was someone beside Martina. But the moment she heard her snoring loudly, Mary Green tilted her head in relief.
"I should stop working late. It is perhaps the reason why I can hear unusual voices." Mary Green said as she seated back on the chair.
She took a heavy breath before she closed her weary eyes. "Huh, I hope we can go back home tomorrow." She added that shocked Martina who was faking her sleep.
As they had waited for a couple of minutes until she fell asleep, Blue savored the moment where he could closely stare at her flawless, scarlet cheeks. He couldn't deny the fact that she possessed an extraordinary beauty and irresistible charm.
And perhaps, it was the main reason why he had fallen in love with her at first sight. No doubt that what he felt towards her was true.
Even if the universe hindered him from seeing her, he would always find a way for the woman who had effortlessly captured his heart.
"You're prettier when you smile," he said quietly, staring into her green, round eyes. "And don't try to fool me again with your common reasons anymore. It won't buy my time after all my efforts didn't go to waste as I am here right now lying next to you."
Blue took the chance for granted and he aggressively grabbed her waist closer to his chest. It was perfect as he didn't make any mistakes and disturbing noise.
His eyes glowed as his mischievous side was activated because of her presence.
"Let go of me, Mister Maniac!" Martina warned him.
But as hard as an ancient stone, nothing could ever stop the naughty alpha with his roguish plans. Before she uttered a single word, Martina suddenly felt his soft, sweet lips that touched against her.
All through her existence, she had never been kissed and touched by a man. She had no idea what to do next when she realized that he was slowly moving his head and felt his tongue inside of her mouth.
"What the hell is he doing?" She thought. While he waited for her to respond, Martina remained still like a statue as the truth was she didn't know how the proper way to kiss a man.
