Vince's outburst was frightening to Vanda's ears, "Are you mad Vanda? By then my life will be in a catastrophic stage. She is so plain, and her wearing is a bit cheap and unfashionable."
"What do you mean Vince?"
"Well, she dresses more churchist."
"Churchist! does she go to church?" Going to his room noticing his cousin continue to glance at him with a smug look.
Vanda follows him when he stands by the window, he feels his forehead wet, and then the sweat rolls down his face. Running his fingers through his hair, whispering, "Never in my entire life, have I been this flummox. I have gone through many calamitous situations at the office before, but never have I felt like I was in a fix as now?"
"There's no need for you to be petrified Bro, I am with you, so just relax, after the wedding with a slight persuasion, GP will realize his mistake, and agree with you to a divorce settlement."
"Let us hope so, or my life will be in total shambles, but right now, I need to go and inform her that this wedding is on."
Vanda gazed at him as he drives out of the garage, thinking, 'This matter has him so rattled up, so why is GP insisting that he marries this person?
Could it be really what I thought last night? Is he worried that Chrystal's behaviour and attitude will bring shame and reproach to the family?
She is always involved in some scheme, last night I was so embarrassed and Jacqueline is right, she is a very ugly person in her heart but she has been my only true friend all these years. I love the two of them I only hope I won't have to choose?'
`Parking once more by the sidewalk, Vince steps out of his vehicle, the way he was frustrated he didn't care about his appearance, he didn't want any part of this family but because of GP, he was being put in a spot.
Vince's thoughts went back to his first visit and the dog, he walks carefully being on the alert. He notices the many baskets full of red roses along the walkway. 'It was beautiful but where do they take those?'
Seeing a person between the roses, "Excuse me, can I speak to Miss Sidney?"
"Sorry, my sister is not home but my mom is inside, you can make whatever arrangement you want with her."
Seeing she bend down once more cutting roses, as though she was in a rush. 'Isn't she the one who was crossing the road, I could be dead wrong because I didn't see her face?'
When the child came running out, "George, are you done? The customer is coming next ten minutes."
"Come on Haley, you can count these out for me and take it outside, and where the hell is Caroline? I need her help, I still have about a hundred to cut again."
"She is busy George with the next order; Mom get an hour ago."
"Then see if the white and pink roses are ready from the back for these orders to be complete because this has to leave?"
"Okay George, I will let Glenda know right away."
Seeing the child run to the back, hearing her calling out to Glenda. 'They seem to have forgotten that I am standing here. Even the child didn't seem to notice me here, am I invisible?'
When the child returns from carrying her message, Vince said, "Excuse me!"
"Yes Sir, ooooh, you are the person." Wondering, 'Why did she say it like that? Yesterday she was so pleasant and nice but now she seems very unhappy.'
"Haley, do you know this gentleman, honey?"
"Yes, George, he is Bil."
"Bil, Bil who, Haley?"
Seeing how confused this George was when she stood up from her task of cutting roses and looks at him, Vince thought, 'Goodness, and where did this child get that stupid name Bil from?'
"George, he is the person going to marry Sis." Hearing the sadness in her voice, 'From what she said she knows that I am the one going to marry her sister.'
"What?" Seeing George lift her head once more and look up in shock, "Oh my goodness, I am very sorry but as you can see I am very busy and running late. She is not bad looking, in fact, she is very beautiful and she looks lovely between the roses, although she is properly covered due to the thorns from the roses she looks amazing.
When she did speak calling out to the child, "Haley honey, run along and tell Mom, she will handle this situation and tell her to find out exactly, how many guests we will be expecting, and hurry back to help me with these."
Seeing her go, she calls out to the child once more, "Haley, take Bil with you to meet Mom?" 'Boy, now this stupid name will stick on me like glue and everyone will be calling me Bil?
As he follows the child he was convinced now that she was the person crossing the road, 'Oh God, I met the last first she is the sweetest and now she is angry with me because she believes I am taking her sister away. Then, I met the second to last and she bounces me unconcerned.
Then I met this one in the flowers field, in which I can't place a number not knowing how many they are. When I bounced into the one GP has chosen to marry me she was angry but she seems to be the eldest.
Was that a coincidence, well if it is, it feels strange and it seems as though I hate them already. The only one I like is the child, and she seems unhappy with my decision.
But who can blame her, I am displeased as well and so is her sister, but who is thinking about what we want?'
Hearing the child say, "Bil, come on Jo-Jo is with Caroline in the back."
Curious to know why she calls him bill he asks, "Tell me why do you call me Bil?"
