Dear diary,
Today is our last day in Yorkshire, we are moving to California. What happened Friday was too much even for my parents that's why we decided to it is about time we started all over again.
I know it's hard for my parents, leaving everything behind. They are doing for me and I'm thankful for it.

EMERY'S POV
"mom, dad" "I'm done packing" I yelled on top of my voice to get their attention.
They are probably in their room, looking around and remembering old things because we all know we are not coming here again.
"coming" said my mom. When down, their eyes were dry alright, but it wouldn't take a genius to know they were close to tears.
"can you please help me with my things? some are heavy." I asked no one in particular.
"come on sweetie, I'll help you." My dad said. We walked silently to my room.
"I'm sorry I said in a small voice that I didn't even recognize. "whatever for?" he asked trying to sound like an 18s gentleman.
"for everything, for making us abandon our home because I'm too much of a coward to stand up for myself." I concluded
"darling, don't blame yourself for anything" he said. "we could have simply changed schools you know?" I insisted
"but we decided it was time to leave" he explained turning around to exit the room with a box in hand.
"oh and Emery, remember courage is not the absence of fear, to be able to tolerate that for more than a year is already very courageous" he concluded.
I don't know why but I smiled at that, maybe it is he just borrowed a line from one of the motivational videos he likes watching so much.
I love my parents and I'll do everything I can to move on. "Emery, Chara, it's time to leave" I heard my dad say.
I rushed down with my bag pack in tow. "ready" I said to my dad. "go get seated sweetie, I'm waiting for mom" he said.
"okay, but hurry, I want to leave already" I said "okay darling" my dad said amused.
I went and got seated, a few minutes later my dad appeared with a sobbing mom beside him. I felt so bad about making us move that I started crying as if my life depended on it.
Now it was their turn to be surprised. "Emery ...…." Mom said intending to say something but I cut her off.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry mom. I wished we didn't have to move. Just change the school for me" I said, not wanting us to move anymore.
"Emery don't you dare blame yourself for anything, it's not your fault" she all but screamed.
"but it sure as hell feels like it" I screamed back.Â
 "language lady" she warned
"I'm sorry" I mumbled
"Emery..., darling... it's not your fault so don't blame yourself. We should have looked closer. We should have known something was wrong when you started skipping breakfast and staying in your room all the time.
I should've known my baby girl was hiding something but no, I was too caught up in my own stuff. I'm so sorry" she said starting to cry all over again.
My dad joined soon after. So our family of three were standing outside hugging and crying.
I'm sure we looked ridicules standing outside and crying like that.
We were so lost in our tears that it took the driver faking a cough for us to realize it's about time we left.
"oh, right" my dad said drying his tears.
"please get seated" he said to us.
I dried my tears and got seated, so did mom. To make myself feel better, I turned on my iPod to play songs.
Alarm by Anne Marie started playing and I sang along.
Â
"I might be getting, what I deserve
But I ain't sticking 'round for the rerun
What's done is done
And there goes the alarm, ringing in my heard
Like somebody said don't you trust him? No.
Take it from his ex, what did you expect
Now you laying here knowing where he goes"
Â
I started moving my body to the beat. Then the song changed to goodbye by Celine Dion.
"goodbye's the saddest word I'll ever hear
Goodbye's the last time I would hold you near
Someday you'll say that word and I would cry
It will break my heart to hear you say goodbye"
Â
We're here, I heard someone say in my sub-conscious mind.
Then I felt someone shaking me ever so lightly. I woke up with a start.
"I didn't do it. I didn't do it" I shouted.
"you didn't what Emery?" Mom asked
"Nothing" I mumbled. I must've fallen asleep.
"wow" I said breathlessly, our new home is beautiful. It's a four story and black in color. It has a gold colored gate, it looks so grand.
I can't wait anymore I thought out loud as I sprinted to the front door and opened. I heard my parents laughing behind me.
The first floor is the kitchen. Everything was there already. Plate, cooking pots, even the fridge was fully stocked and I marveled at my dad's efficiency.
The whole of the second floor was a bedroom with bathroom and a walk in closet. Everything is here, except clothes off course.
The third floor is a very well equipped gym. And the fourth floor is also a bedroom. "I'm definitely taking this." I said to myself.
Oh I forgot to tell you, we have an elevator.
Back downstairs, I went to the dining area which had a glass dining table with four chairs around it. The hall had a flat screen television the size of my dad's car. It was huge.
"dad, I want the top floor" I said trying to look cute.
"you know I can't say no to that face" was my dad's reply and I knew I got the room.
My parents are not over the top rich but we had enough…. oh who am I kidding? my parents are loaded.
My dad is a business man, he owns shopping malls, sells cars and deals in importing and exporting of goods. That's about all I know about my dad's job. Not interested.
