Like the wheels of a car his intonation had taken a 360 degree turn, now he didn't sound like he was accusing anybody, it could even be heard from how he had asked 'since you are not the one then who abducted the girl?' instead of overbearingly saying 'if you claim you're not the one then who else is it?'
Such turnaround was definitely not unexpected, Sovereign Alpha Leikos would be a fool to still adamantly heap blames on Olcan even at this point, after the threat and all, at least later on he could shamelessly—no scratch that, he could confidently use this statement as a yard stick of repentance.
Olcan scoffed in his head "Doesn't that mean you are indirectly associating me to the culprit?"
