Too many surprises for one day...
Olcan's words were akin to a thunderclap in their ears, if not anything else, it was shocking to hear the word 'mate' from Olcan's mouth, it might have even been less surprising if his reason for fighting with Torak was because he had known that Torak had jumped ship.
"You... your...your mate?!'
"He stole your mate?!"
"Did I hear that correctly, did Sovereign Alpha just say that Torak guy stole his mate?" One of them turned and asked the Alpha next to him but the other man couldn't be bothered to confirm his confusion cause he himself haven't come out of the shock yet.
