Seconds turned to minutes, yet the girl that had just said she would be up in seconds was yet to stand up from her bed, in fact she had drifted back to sleep after that phone call. Lying on the bed was really not helpful for someone who was trying to stay awake or wake up.

"Wait what? What? I'm up! I'm up!" She jolted up from bed as a result of Lupita calling her name.
"You're up alright, something you said you were going to be minutes ago" Lupita complained with her arms placed akimbo, she had waited and waited for Elara only to come to her room and see her still fast asleep.
"Ugh! I must have dozed off"
"More like slept off! You need to get up and get ready, it's just few hours left before the occasion and we are yet to get to the mall"
