throughout the drive back home up until they got home, there was an awful silence amongst them, Elara didn't say anything throughout, funniest part is that she looked quite okay, apart from the still obvious finger mark on her face, she didn't look like anything was wrong with her. There was even a slight smile on her lips but if you could look closely, you would see her eyes flickered with the amount of hunt she was trying to hide.
"Hey Dad" she greeted normally when they walked into the house.
"You guys are back?" Flynn asked turning his attention from what he was doing.
"yeah"
At first glance he was able to tell something had happened "How was school?" He chose to beat around the issue first.
She gave a small smile "it was fine"
Flynn waited till she had gone to her room before turning to the boys with a questioning look.
"what happened?" even if he couldn't see through Elara's 'normal face', Marzen and Marcus stiff expression still told him something was wrong.
