"What are you saying? How can there be someone who has eight legs?"
Morgan chuckled softly. He imagined someone like Mrs. Ceci who had eight legs piled on top of each other, looking very strange.
Bia was silent. She didn't know what else to say and was confused.
"Are they raising spiders here?" Morgan continued to babble behind Thomas. "Are we at a stalemate or has no one ever passed through here?"
The Prince did not respond. He looked closely at the spider web. The rolled white bundles stuck to them as if these thin webs had strong glue holding them together.
When Thomas held out the lamp and touched it gently, the bundle was hard as a stick. Bia, behind Thomas, muttered in a hoarse voice.
The ceiling was full of cobwebs covering the entire passageway, but Thomas didn't find the giant spider that was the owner of this huge web.
"Don't go there," Bya whispered in Morgan's ear softly. "Let's find another way."
