"You both act like strangers. I don't know how you can manage to do that," Nina commented seeing Theodore and Maximus crossing paths and acting as if they were strangers even though they live in the same house.
"Let's not talk about him," Theodore ended the conversation which made her sulk. Every time she tries to ask about Maximus, he gives her this exact reaction. This drives her increasingly curious to know what happened between them so that they hate each other like they were sworn enemies.
They crossed the soldiers' den and headed towards the watchtower. There were only two soldiers at present, others were in the town.
Nina looked at the turret, she has never seen anything like this before.
"Let's continue what we were conversing with," Theodore said. "You don't remember last night?"
"Yes, I don't," she nodded and he halted the horse.
"You are so stubborn," he smiles as he gets down from the horse. He carefully put her on the snow-covered ground.
