While Hitori was putting his head to desk and sleeping, Hashiro was gently watching Hitori, while trying to understand what was his problem.
Hashiro was able to talk to everyone in the class, she was listening everyone's problems and trying to help them. Sometimes, Hashiro even got love confessions because of her being close to men, she also has a confident posture, and beautiful body. But she turned them all down. Because Hashiro didn't do this to impress men, she just did what she had to do as a good person and a president. But Hashiro couldn't talk to Hitori at all. Hitori must have been feeling very lonely, trying to endure this challenging and routine cycle of high school education without friends and talking to anyone. This must have been sad and difficult for Hitori she thought.
At that moment the bell rang and Hitori slowly lifted his head from the desk. He took out the philosophy book from his bag and placed them on the desk.
Meanwhile, an unfamiliar teacher entered the classroom:
"Hi guys, I'm Kaishi Toruga, your new philosophy teacher, nice to meet you all."
A few people from the class began to argue:
"Hidari Sensei left?"
"This is bad..."
"Meh... I didn't like that teacher that much anyway..."
The teacher waited for the class to be quiet, and when the silence was restored, he continued to speak.
"In my class, instead of depending on the book, I will discuss the topics you want and make you memorize the concept and key words. So this lesson will not be boring at all."
The class was delighted.
Kaishi smiled and continued speaking:
"Now, for the first lesson, I'll leave you alone. All I want is for you to talk to your friend next to you and get to know each other better... So that you can discuss the topics that I will talk about in later lessons with each other... But please don't be too loud, okay?"
The class immediately started talking to each other. Meanwhile, Hitori was terribly nervous, he had to have to talk with president, but he couldn't, he hadn't spoken to anyone in a long time, he hadn't even said a word to his family, he was nervous. And he couldn't even speak anymore... Speaking was as difficult for Hitori as Saburu in Re:Two saying he himself was able to resurrect and restart the world. The words were cut off when he tried to speak, so he only could make a few strange noises. And when people first experienced this situation, they just laughed at him and told him to be a man. "Being a man, man up..." Those were the words Hitori hated the most...
Meanwhile, someone in the class poked Hitori:
"Hey what was your name again? Horito? Horita? Anyway... if you don't mind, can you get up and sit at another desk for this lesson?"
Hitori slowly looked at the person poking him, that guy most have been one of the popular normies in the class.
The person who is poking Hitori looked at Hashiro, smiled slyly:
"There are a few things I want to talk about with President about... You know..."
He tapped Hitori's back twice, and Hitori backed away immediately.
"Come on my man, you'll do it for me, right..."
Hitori shook him head and stood up, just as he was about to leave, Hashiro grabbed Hitori's arm:
"Wait a second, please! Orokamk-kun, I'm sorry, but we're not allowed to move places, we have to sit the way our teacher asked us to sit..."
The guy named Orokamk was disappointed:
"But Hashir- I mean president-"
"Also, I'd like to have a little talk with Hitori, so could you please sit down?"
As soon as Hitori heard his own name, he looked at Hashiro in surprise…
Orokamk gave Hitori a menacing look as he made his way to his desk…
Hitori sat down and Hashiro asked a question:
"Hitori, why don't you talk to me or anyone in this class? Is there a problem?"
Hitori tore a piece of paper from his philosophy notebook and wrote on it:
"Why do you want to know?"
Hashiro replied:
"I just want to understand. Why? Don't get me wrong, but it seems sad to me that you're the only one in this situation in this whole class while everyone is talking to each other."
Hitori gave Hashiro a confused look, Hashiro continued:
"Look, I just want to help you, okay?"
Hitori took a deep breath and wrote:
"Promise you won't make fun of me."
Hashiro smiled at the success of convincing Hitori, but when Hitori saw this smile, he thought that the girl was preparing to make fun of him. But still, he began to write down everything that was going through his mind. He didn't know why this girl was curious about him, and he was sure that she wouldn't be able to understand him; however, there was finally someone who wanted to talk with him, and he didn't want to miss the chance. He wrote for 15 minutes with mixed and dizzy feelings. He was nervous and breathing heavily When he finished writing he looked at Hashiro. For some reason, Hashiro wasn't bored, she was just calmly waiting for him to finish writing.
When Hitori saw this he had a little relief and handed the paper to Hashiro...
