The human world is in fragile one. I lived amongst the billions of people that tried to go about their everyday lives. It wasn't an easy task cause the human world was fragile.
It was exposed to dangers after heavy events like war and natural disasters. The killing of animals, the loss of human lives, and the rest were proof enough, but nothing prepared these humans for the world they were about to live in.
There's life outside the earthly one. Most humans know this, but the majority of them don't care or choose not to. One can not comprehend something, so they decide not to accept it. I had watched several people play extraterrestrial life as a funny concept to incorporate into television shows and fictional books but never anything to be considered as genuine.
This doesn't stop the Angels from existing and being at war with their archenemies, a breed of anti-Angels—the demons.
Darker creatures that live in the underworld and have tried to refrain from hurting the humans, the demons were creatures not to be contended with, and we lived a somewhat peaceful life. This was until recently when we went into war with the Demons and unleashed hell on earth.
The earth plane found itself open to all sorts of magical events taking place. It started off with people disappearing randomly; people would go missing at random moments in time. A neighbour missing in the midst of a fight, a criminal suspect missing in court, a child missing after labour. What followed next was even dangerous.
The souls unleashed themselves on the earth. Ghosts began to terrorize people; I had woken up in the middle of the night to secretly hunt down a couple of them that had infested our neighbourhood, causing trouble for many.
I had reached out to the Angelic Council on Earth, hoping they'd have an answer to all the problems, but most Angels were on the war front trying not to get killed. We were working hard to keep the demons at bay but at the cost of the humans.
Another thing that plagued the earth was a mutation, magic mutated people and animals. Turning them into the strangest of things that they couldn't explain themselves. I watched them try to and fail at figuring out what was wrong with them. They finally made laws, warning people not to step out and not to touch things that were strange.
The war rages on, hotter and more demanding than before. The demons are gaining on us, but we shall prevail. Then humans keep experiencing new things, but they're surprisingly bright for a bunch of people who would mingle with the dark side. The world is slowly falling apart, and I hope that the war will come to an end.
I stopped the recording, pulled it out, processed it, and kept it aside using a bit of my powers. I would leave enough information for the humans to understand what had become of their world.
I know the demons are doing the same thing.
Maybe god forgives me for doing this, but they must have a chance to fight.
Send down the talismans.
