After noticing that my body wasn't spasming and I wasn't feeling any abnormalities, I tried opening my eyelid and it opened but I didn't feel safe, not until I saw that I was still in the hospital surrounded by Claire, June, Elsie, Rebecca, Samantha and Ashley because for a moment there I thought maybe I died and that's why I wasn't feeling anything except lightness.
"Layla?" Claire asked and I turned my focus to her before smiling and nodding my head in approval
"Yes," I said feeling weak as I spoke up
"Oh my Goddess!" she cried immediately I replied and I wondered why
"She's awake Sam, she is" she cried into Samantha's chest as she consoled her and guessing I was very sick and she's felt relieved about that, I smiled but it all faded as I recalled Ashley telling me Damien is unconscious and that's because of me
"Damien, where is Damien?" I said as I struggled to stand up before Ashley rushed to my side and pushed me down
