"What do you mean you don't understand?" Claire ask inching her head closer to Ash
"I meant exactly what I said, I don't understand why the both of them went through that ordeal, I mean, Layla didn't reject Damien, she only ran away out of fear, so why did they have to go through what mates who get rejected go through?" she said shrugging while my eyes bulge out of surprise
"Are you trying to tell me that I went through the rejection ordeal just now?" I asked confused
"Well, not all the ordeal, but what you two just went through is related to rejection, you might have had it worse if you actually rejected each other, probably you guys would even be six feet under by now, who knows?" she said
