Damien was finding it hard to understand his life with every growing second, he thought he had everything figured out, and that things were going to be at least a little bit more normal than before but right now it seemed to him like he was just fooling himself.
Firstly, he's got himself the matter of a mole in the pack, something he never thought he would have to deal with, and now a mate that can't control her powers and has the most dangerous thing as its trigger, anger.
He knew he had been lucky to be her mate, else he'd be nothing more than a burnt man right now, in fact, he doesn't think is just a mate cut it for him, he thinks it was because they had shared a mark and he has some sort of connection with her body because that is the only explanation he could give her reaction to him trying to reach out to her mind, she had said he should stop, which only means it had a positive effect.
