'Jason! Jason!' I called out through our pack mindlink, I desperately needed to get in contact with Jason.
When Merrick and I stumbled on that safehouse we knew we were in over our heads. We tried our best to warn Dennis and the others but it was too late.
By the time we got to the hotel the first wave of attacks had already started, the whole time they knew that we were there.
They knew that we were looking for them, what they didn't account for was that Merrick and I would find them.
At first I was too stunned to move, almost fifty wolves were attacking the hotel just to take out our small team.
I wanted to save them, but Merrick pulled me away, we knew they had an even bigger plan. We knew that they wanted to target both the Shadows and Silver Moon Packs, they couldn't allow my brother and Merrick's sister to combine the packs.
Together we would be too strong.
