I decided to speak to my best friend and head warrior Dennis first since it would be much easier than dealing with my Beta.
If it weren't for tradition it would be Dennis standing in as my Beta and not Adrian.
I gave his door a light knock and waited for him to let me in. We were the only guests left in the Shadows Pack as I couldn't leave my mate so easily.
"Alpha." Dennis said with a slight bow as he opened the door.
"We both know that you don't need to call me by my title, Dennis." I reminded my friend. "May I come in?" I asked as I wanted to speak to him in private.
"Of course." Dennis said as he let me enter his room.
Just as he was at home, Dennis' room was clean and it looked like no one had even slept here the night before.
