As the meeting ended there was one thing that everyone was certain about, there was a threat to all supernatural kind and it would not be taken lightly.
Sadly, we still wouldn't be able to celebrate my birthday because the rest of the council had to stay a few more days so that all the leaders could come up with a plan.
I was somewhat glad they would have to extend their stay, because it meant a few more days where I didn't need to worry about having to move to Jason's pack.
"Is something wrong?" Jason asked as the council meeting ended and everyone was escorted to their rooms for the night.
We had decided to stay back since Jason's sleeping arrangements would still need to be discussed. As mates we should be allowed to share a room, but knowing my father, he could be quite overprotective at times.
"I was just thinking." I told him.
"Then I like it when you think." He told me as he looked down and lifted my chin so we were looking each other in the eyes.
