Jason was true to his word, within a few minutes he was back with two men carrying his bags.
"Luna." They both said as they bowed to me.
"No, Alpha." Jason corrected, making me smile.
I knew that they would be confused, the mate of an Alpha was not an Alpha, it was a Luna. She was the mother of the pack. It's heart, it's warmth.
Alphas were too dominant and too headstrong. Having two wolves with an Alpha wolf was dangerous for a pack. One could always challenge the other for control, something no one wanted.
Surprisingly, Jason's men simply nodded at him as they placed his bags down.
"I want to introduce you to some people." Jason said as he extended a hand for me to take.
I smiled at him and took his hand, allowing him to pull me closer to him.
"This my love is my Beta, Adrian, my second in command." Jason said as he nodded for one of them to step forward.
Beta Adrian was a large man with olive skin, as if he stayed under the sun for just the right amount of time.
