When Dennis and I left the pack house my mom kept crying.
Jason had just gotten home and here I was leaving to go on an unknown mission.
My older brother and father had agreed with me when I eventually asked them not to tell mom all of the details about this mission. I knew it was going to be very dangerous especially with an interracial force like ours.
"We're meeting the Alpha's son at the territory border." I heard Dennis say.
He was driving us and I wasn't too happy to be stuck in a car with him for several hours.
"I texted Merrick to let him know that we are on the way, he said he already left their pack house." I knew for a fact that the Shadows pack had their pack house deeper into their territory compared to ours.
From what Merrick had told me in the past, theirs was up on a mountain. It had been built there since it would be easier to defend.
