The atmosphere turned cold. The walls of the library seemed silent, gripping, giving off an atmosphere of silence.
After the guard left, Amanda looked at her husband with an unreadable look.
"That woman left too? Tsk so it's all clear now." Amanda mumbled.
"But Edward, you said that about the kids." Amanda furrowed her brows, glaring suspiciously. "Does the woman also have children?"

Edward fell silent. His gaze narrowed slowly. He avoided his wife's gaze for a few seconds.
"Edward." Amanda called again. This time more depressed. The middle-aged woman felt something different. It was as if something had been kept a secret by her husband.
"Don't tell me you're keeping something from me again."
Edward glanced over. Then nodded slowly.
