Night's getting late. They had finished the night.
Maura cleaned up the remnants of dirty laundry in the sink while Erlang picked up his daughter who had fallen asleep after the night's funeral.
Maura sighed. His mind was racing. Every now and then he glanced at his room. Waiting for Erlang to get out of there.
They have to talk. Maura convinced herself.
After everything was finished, Maura decided to meet her lover because the man had not been seen at all.
Maura took a deep breath. He was right in front of the wooden door. Just before he knocked on the door, it was opened first from the inside, revealing the figure of Erlang who was choking in surprise.
"Maura, why?"
Maura glanced, her black beads glanced inward. There the princess slept soundly with the blanket.
"He fell asleep?" Maura asked casually.
