I have always known Mary-Anne and my dad had a deep relationship, aside from my mum and me, she must be very hurt by my dad's sudden death, but the doubt she is planting in my head is working.
"Relax, he just asked me to call him father because I never had a father. We first met when my mother the beta of the dark pack drove me out of the packed town because I couldn't find a mate. No one wanted a hybrid as a mate and more so I was very sick," she sniffed and stares at me.
"He found me half-dead and he cured me. He so was kind enough to let me call him father," Mary-Anne muttered.
"I see," was all I could say. To think my dad had another daughter somewhere else sent hot rashes to my spine and you have no idea how relieved I felt after hearing this. Dad never betrayed mum and me.
"Are you feeling pains again?" she asked concerned, the doubt and stress made me have another attack.
