Werewolves...
Or should we say violent and heartless monsters. The beings who are able to shift forms between a human and a petrifying monster. They were known to be merciless and war loving creatures. A world where many mythical creatures co-existed, including wizards, witches, vampires, mages, humans, these violent creatures were also a part of it.
About a thousand years ago, a peace pact was made between the werewolves and all the other beings. Werewolves' population was so large that they would outnumber the other with ease. Since they were not peaceful being, the others were sick of it, they were sick of the daily bloodshed, losing their loved ones in a blink of an eye, the fear of losing their lives when they leave their houses, the fear of seeing your loved ones for the last time, the fear of losing all their freedom.
Finally a strong mage with a rare power animal, a dragon, stood up and fought for the rights of others and finally succeeded after a struggle of hundred years. A border was created which can not be crossed by the either sides, if they will, it would be a death penalty.
Today, peace was created and everything was normal.
People would go out without the fear of not seeing their family again, children would play in the playground without any fear, taking long walks at night without the fear of being eaten.
Peace was finally here. Everything was great until...
"...Lisa?...Lisaaa?....ELISAAA!!!!" the blonde girl shouted, making the other girl flinch.
"Wha- Genevieve? Why are you shouting?? Gosh! You literally made me deaf..." said the brunette girl.
"I made you deaf?! I might have lost my voice due to shouting your name constantly! Why the hell are you so lost today?...Wait a sec! You're not thinking about that incident right?" Genevieve said while the brunette girl was just silent.
"....Come on Elisaaa!! It's been eight years now! I told you not to think about it! Why do you always think about it when it always brings you bad memories" Genevieve said, placing herself on the chair in front of Elisa.
"...I don't know...How can I not think about it when it's literally a part of me?" Elisa said, looking towards her right foot.
"*sigh* I know it's hard to forget but...I promise! I will never let anything happen to you ever again! I swear on my cupcakes!" Genevieve said, placing her left hand on her chest and holding three fingers up in her right hand. Seeing her making so much effort to lighten up the mood Elisa couldn't help but let out a chuckle at her behavior.
"Okay Madam, Now shall we go to class before we get punished for getting late...again." Elisa said getting up while picking up her bag.
"*tch* I don't want to. It's Mr. Wilson's class, He is so boring. Always talking about the history of the border. I mean it was interesting for the first three times but he literally has no other topic to talk about. Now I have the knowledge of the whole history on the tip of my tongue" Genevieve said with a pout, showing her displeasure, making Elisa laugh.
"Okay okay, Miss Grumpy, Now shall we go?" Elisa said as Genevieve nodded half-heartedly before getting up. They walked towards their class which already had the presence of Mr. Wilson.
"Shit" Both the girls cursed under their breath.
"Miss Shizwell and Miss Sael! You are late again!" the old man said sternly.
"We're sorry Mr. Wilson, actually Elisa had really bad tummy ache so we were at the infirmary which is the reason we're late" Genevieve said making Elisa eyes widened as she looked at her with disbelief and before Mr. Wilson could notice, Genevieve pinched her arm making her yelp.
"Ouch!" Elisa exclaimed.
"What? Miss Shizwell are you alright? If you are not I'll call the nurs-"
"No! I'm...okay now. No need to worry" Elisa cut off Mr. Wilson as he nodded and gestured to them to enter the class as they did. Genevieve was walking ahead while Elisa was shooting dagger at her while walking behind her. They got seated as Mr. Wilson started his class.
"Hey! Why did you make me dirty! Tummy ache? Seriously?!" Elisa whisper-yelled to Genevieve who was sitting besides her controlling her laugh.
"I just wanted to. It is fun teasing you. And if I didn't give an excuse immediately we would be standing in front of the class right now since this is the fourth time." Genevieve explained as Elisa pouted, making her giggle.
"Oh. my baby is angry?" Genevieve said giggling at her best friend's cute state.
"Miss Sael! Miss Shizwell! Is there something wrong?" Mr. Wilson said sternly. Genevieve stood up and said,
"No Sir. I was just asking Elisa if her tummy ache was better, nothing else."
"Hey!" Elisa whisper-yelled and slapped her best friend's leg while all the students just giggled. Mr. Wilson sighed and asked her to sit and she did.
"Just you wait!" Elisa whispered to Genevieve as she chuckled and said, "Oh I sure will".
"So after the war, the population reduced from-"
"Sir!" Mr. Wilson was explaining his topic but a girl interrupted him.
"*sigh* Miss Robins, how many times should I tell you to raise your hand instead of interrupting me" Mr. Wilson said as she rolled her eyes.
"Yeah yeah. Now, my question is that yesterday you told us that interracial reproduction is common now a days so...is it possible between mages and...werewolves." She asked as every single soul in the class gasped at her bold question.
Racheal Robins, leader of university's popular gang 'Galies', who are in fact just bullies. She is a pure devil with an attitude of Mount Everest. It is rumored that she has slept with almost every popular and cute guy at the university. She is also the leader of the cheerleading team. Almost every girl hates her and her gang but since she is a pretty girl with black hair combined with light brown eyes. Every guy simps over her which makes her fly to the seventh sky.
"*Ahem* Miss Robins, that is a very inappropriate question and I am not obligated to answer it" Mr. Wilson said.
"*tch* Whatever" Racheal rolled her eyes and sat back.
"What kind of food does she eat to be this irritat- what?" Elisa was saying but stopped when she saw Genevieve already in her dreamland.
"*sigh* This girl....How can she sleep so fast when we're literally just ten minutes in..." Elisa helplessly shook her head and turned her head in front and continued to listen to the lecture. After a while, the lecture ended.
"So that's all for today. Any questions?" Mr. Wilson asked, closing his book. A hand rose up and it was Racheal, again, "*sigh* Yes Miss Robins" Mr. Wilson said.
"Sir, I was curious about what exactly happened that day?" Racheal asked while Mr. Wilson frowned, "Which day?" He asked.
"Psst- Hey, Genevieve! wake up!! The class is going to end soon!" Elisa whispered as Genevieve slowly regained her consciousness. Elisa then focused on the question Racheal asked.
"The day when the border was upgraded" she said while others also started to ask him since he was the only one who was present at that time. Elisa also got attentive since she also wanted to know whereas Genevieve was just trying to figure out what's going on.
A hundred years ago the border was upgraded. It was because many stubborn people crossed the border and went into the werewolves' territory out of curiosity and lost their lives and because of them the werewolves also started to cross the border as a revenge for invading their territory.
So as a result all mages and wizards gathered and started a high current waterfall which stopped the people to cross the border and when people stopped, the werewolves stopped too and another pact was made which said that if anyone crosses the border and gets caught it was up to the higher authorities what to do with that person, whether he dies or live and the other side will not get involved. Since the first peace pact got old, people didn't care much about it so in other words the contract or peace pact got renewed.
"Like in our books, it is mentioned that there was no blood shed, everything was to clear the curiosities of either sides so what was the reason to upgrade the border?" Racheal asked and at this time everyone was curious including Elisa.
"...It was because the contract which was made nine hundred years ago was for peace and if those actions would go on, it wouldn't take too long for the situation to worsen, that's it. This was the reason and nothing else. Does that clear your curiosity, Miss Robins?" Mr. Wilson said as others nodded whereas Racheal just rolled her eyes.
"Woah...I thought it was something serious but it turns out it was nothing that serious" Genevieve said to Elisa while Elisa was just staring at Mr. Wilson who was picking up his stuff to leave the class.
He looked at Elisa, the eye contact lasted for a few seconds before he broke it and dashed out of the class.
"Why the hell were you staring at him so intensely?" Genevieve asked.
"He was lying"
Was all that Elisa said with a straight face before getting up from her seat. She took her bag and left leaving Genevieve dumbfounded.
"Hey! Wait for me!! Elisa!!!" Genevieve said, picking up her stuff before running after Elisa who was now out of sight.
"Where did she go?..." Genevieve said looking here and there.
"BOO!!!!"
"AHHHH!!!"
"Wha- Who the fu- Elisa?!" Genevieve exclaimed while on the other hand Elisa was on the floor laughing her ass out.
"Pwahahaha...your...hahaha...your face....pfft...I- I can't...pfft....stop laughing...hahaha" Elisa managed to say while holding back her laughter but failed and was rolling on the floor while holding her stomach. Whereas Genevieve just rolled her eyes and helped her stand.
"What was that for?!!" She exclaimed.
"That?!....that was my revenge for earlier" Elisa said proudly while Genevieve giggled and shook her head in disbelief leaving Elisa dumbfounded. "Hey! Why are you laughing?" Elisa asked, confused.
Genevieve pinched Elisa's cheeks and said, "Gosh Lisa, your revenge is just like you...so innocent".
"I'm not innocent okay?" Elisa fought back only to earn another chuckle from Genevieve. "Hey stop it!" Elisa exclaimed. "I won't" Genevieve said and showed her tongue making Elisa more mad.
"Stop or else"
"Or else what?" Genevieve teased back.
"Or else I'll tell your dad" Elisa said as Genevieve stopped laughing and at that moment Elisa realised that. She messed up.
"Hehe...sorry?" Elisa said innocently while Genevieve was glaring at her.
She started to take steps forward and Elisa knew her doom was taking steps towards her, "Genevieve look, it was a mistake. I just said it out, I'm sorry, okay? I won't mention it again. Let's sort it- Ahhh SORRY!!!"
Elisa was saying but in mid sentence Genevieve started to chase after her while Elisa was running for her life.
"I'M SORRY!!! GENNIE, I SAID SOR- Ack"
*thump*
Elisa groaned while running but accidentally tripped over a chocolate wrapper, "Owww, that hurts," Elisa said, rubbing her elbow.
"Lisa!! Are you okay??" Genevieve said running towards her, concern written all over her face.
"No, look I scratched my elbow" Elisa said with a pout and made a fake crying face while showing Genevieve her injury.
"Oh Gals look! What do we have here? A crying baby. Hahaha"
A high pitched voice interrupted them. Both the girls lifted their heads only to see...Racheal and her gang.
