"Lisa! Genevieve! Slow down or you'll get a bad stomach" Mrs. Shizwell said to the girls who were gobbling down the food as if the police were chasing after them.
"No, we can't! We'll be late for class" Elisa said with her mouth filled with food.
"*giggle* Who told you to be up all night and gossip" Mrs. Williams said, placing a tray of fruits in front of them.
"No, no, We can't eat this- Oh God, it's eight already! Genevieve, we don't have time now! Eat in the cafeteria later" Elisa said, dragging Genevieve, making her choke on the orange juice she was drinking.
"*cough cough* C-Calm down! *cough cough" Elisaaa!!" Genevieve said, coughing hysterically.
"Yes, Calm down Elisa, she will die at this rate..." Mrs. Shizwell said, being concerned.
"We don't have time for that either! We should go! You can cough on the way there!" Elisa exclaimed as Genevieve passed her a 'Are you Serious?' look.
Soon Elisa dragged her out of the house leaving all the adults on the table.
"Are you sure about this, Honey? I don't think she is ready yet. Above all, she is only nineteen." Mrs. Shizwell said to her husband, who was sipping on his coffee while checking the stats of his company on his phone.
"Yup, I'm sure and everything is already fixed. We cannot back up anymore and we also have no other choice except for this" He said looking at his wife, who had a concerned expression on her face.
"Relax, it'll be alright. Besides, she is not a kid anymore. She can handle it, she is our daughter after all" Mr. Shizwell said, holding his wife's hand.
Mrs. Shizwell just sighed while nodding her head.

"Thank God! We are not late!" Elisa exclaimed and rushed into the class whereas a half-dead Genevieve followed her inside. They both got seated at the back.
"Hey, Are you alright now?" Elisa asked Genevieve who glared at her, making her let out a nervous chuckle.
"Oh, You remember now that you have a friend who literally had a halfway near death experience?" Genevieve mocked Elisa who was just averting her eyes.
"Look here! You-"
"Excuse me?" Genevieve was saying a but a voice cut her off.
Both the girls turned their heads to see whose voice was that, it was a boy or should we say a nerd boy.
"Yes?" Elisa asked as the boy got flustered.
"Gosh, she didn't even say anything yet and you are red already?" Genevieve said getting irritated by the blushing boy.
"*tch* Genevieve. Stop" Elisa said, showing her not-so-scary eyes.
"Um...A-Actually, a-all the seats are f-full so, C-Can I sit h-here?" the boy said, gesturing towards the seat beside Elisa.
"Yes" "No"
Both Elisa and Genevieve said at the same time.
Elisa looked Genevieve with an irritated smile on her face whereas Genevieve showed her eyes indicating her to not let the boy sit.
"I-I am sorry I'll-"
"No! You can sit!" Elisa cut off the boy scooting towards the right, indicating him to sit.
He smiled and sat beside her and he was blushing pretty hard.
"Why did you let him sit?!" Genevieve whisper-yelled to Elisa.
"As you can see, there are not any seats available and the one beside me is the only one. Do you want me to make him stand the whole lecture?" Elisa whispered to which Genevieve looked at her with disbelief.
"God, you're so stupid!" Genevieve said getting irritated and sat straight focusing ahead.
"Stupid? Me? Excuse me? I'm the topper" Elisa fought back whereas Genevieve just sighed at her friend's stupidity.
Soon the teacher entered and started her lecture. It was all good until....
"Um...Can I borrow your pen?" the nerd boy asked.
"Huh? Oh yeah" Elisa said, handing him her pen with a smile.
"I can't understand this...Can you help me?" He asked again.
"Uh...yeah, why not? Let's see...What's there to explain? You just have to calculate the total momentum and diversify it into..." Elisa started to explain but the boy was just staring at her instead of focusing on the problem.
It went unnoticed by Elisa but not by Genevieve.
"Lisa!" Genevieve said, gaining Elisa's attention.
"Huh? Yeah?" Elisa said, retreating back to her position.
"You'll miss the main point" Genevieve said, indicating that the teacher was explaining the important part.
"Oh? Thanks" Elisa said and focused on the lecture whereas Genevieve passed a death glare to the boy making him gulp in fear.
Soon the class ended and the girls left the classroom. Both of them were walking peacefully when suddenly Genevieve spoke,
"Lisa, I'll be back in a sec".
"What? Where are you- Hey? Wait!!" Elisa was asking but before she could complete Genevieve dashed from there.
"Okay, so I'll be waiting by the tree" Elisa said to the disappeared figure of Genevieve and left towards their favourite spot where they usually hang out when it's break time.

"Bro, she was this close to me. I swear, she is even more beautiful up close. Ugh, I'm gonna die!!! " the nerd boy exclaimed, telling the other boys of his group about the class scene.
"Andrew, why do you pretend to be a nerd when you can be the most popular guy in school?" one of the boys said. Andrew smirked and said,
"To get the treasure", making all of them confused.
"Treasure?" a boy asked.
"Mhm...Elisa Shizwell, the treasure of our town. Y'all know how she never talks to guys, but she never ignores the weak and being a nerd helps a lot in interacting with her" he said as the boys nodded.
"So, made any progress yet? You know she is hard-to-get. She is the ultimate crush of this University, every boy out there has a crush on her and not gonna lie, us too" one of the boys said as Andrew glared at him.
"I don't care about others but you all keep in mind that she is mine!" he said sternly as the other boys looked at each other.
"As for the progress? Today, a thing or two might have happened if that Genevieve hadn't interrupted us, I might have had our first kiss!!!" Andrew exclaimed.
"Oh really?" a voice interrupted them.
"Who the f*ck has the audacity to- Genevieve?"
Andrew was saying but stopped when he saw a not-so-happy Genevieve standing behind them crossing her hands over her chest.
"G-Genevieve, we were just-"
"You were what huh? Talking sh*t about my friend?" Genevieve snapped back.
"N-no, It's not like that," Andrew said while backing up a little as Genevieve took her steps towards him.
And that noon, the boys regretted their whole existence.
___
"Lisa!!"
Genevieve exclaimed as she went towards her friend who was currently immersed in the book, not giving a damn about the amount of eyes staring at her.
She looked up and smiled before getting up.
"Where were you? You made me wait for thirty-nine minutes!" Elisa whined, making Genevieve chuckle.
"Sorry, I just got caught up with some dogs," Genevieve said, scoffing a little.
"Dogs? When did our campus start keeping dogs?" Elisa questioned.
"Hahh, my innocent hamster. You'll never understand" Genevieve said, pinching Elisa's cheeks.
"Hey! Will you stop calling me innocent?! And don't call me a hamster!" Elisa complained while Genevieve just laughed.
"But you are innocent!" Genevieve said as Elisa frowned.
"I'm not okay? I know how girls get pregnant!" Elisa exclaimed but soon shut her mouth.
"What? What did you say? I didn't get that!" Genevieve said, teasing Elisa as she turned red.
"Nothing" Elisa said and dashed from there whereas Genevieve was laughing her heart out.
"Wait!" Genevieve shouted and followed her up, still laughing.
"Stop laughing or else I'll punch out your teeth out" Elisa said glaring at Genevieve who was giggling for the last fifteen minutes of the car ride, pissing Elisa off.
"I'm sorry but I really can't stop. I can't believe you just said that" Genevieve said while giggling as Elisa scoffed.
"So are you gonna return to your home today?" Elisa asked as Genevieve's eyes darkened.
"Don't call it home. It's not a home. It's a house where I have to live because of my mother's stupid last wish" she said as Elisa looked down feeling sad for her friend.
"And yeah, I have to. If not today then tomorrow, but I have to return eventually." Genevieve said, looking out of the window.
"Even if I don't, your dad won't be happy with me being there 'again'" Genevieve said, highlighting the word 'again'.
Elisa chuckled and held Genevieve's hand.
"As I told you before, that is your home too. And about dad?...just ignore him" Elisa said as Genevieve chuckled while nodding.
"Can you drop me there?" Genevieve asked, pointing at the sidewalk.
"But your house is still not here yet" Elisa said.
"Yeah, I just want to walk for a while in peace" Genevieve said as Elisa nodded. Elisa asked the driver to stop the car where Genevieve pointed at.
Genevieve got out of the car but Elisa stopped her by holding her sleeve.
"Want me to join?" Elisa asked, being concerned as Genevieve shook her head as no.
"No need for that. And besides, your parents must be waiting since they wanted to talk to you." Genevieve said as realization hit Elisa.
"Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that," Elisa said.
"So you should leave and don't worry about me. I'm not a kid" Genevieve said while chuckling as Elisa hesitantly nodded.
Genevieve closed the car door as Elisa rolled down the window mirror and said,
"Take care okay? And don't act impulsive. Try to act cool, okay?" Elisa said as Genevieve rolled her eyes.
"Yeah yeah. Mom" Genevieve said as Elisa giggled and bid goodbye. Soon the car started moving.
"Thank you...for being the brightest star when I lost the moon of my life. If you weren't in my life back then, I would still be inside that well of darkness....."
Genevieve said while looking at the disappearing figure of the car.
