The hall totally agreed with the minister's words, they would all have the same opinion of course, because since Mireyas had appeared none of the aristocratic girls had any chance of winning prince Jonathan's heart.
And with her humiliation they would manage to remove her out of the frame and even if Jonathan managed to marry Mireya, all aristocrats would always be against her and would make her life so miserable that she would give up herself.
Their plan was simple, at first they had to get rid of Mireya or just make her opinion so bad that the rumors would do their job, and then it was to change the judgment of his majesty Alastair, which strangely was on her side all the time.
But even though they managed successfully to make the first step, the second one was to oppose a king, he was not a tyrant but still would not spare death for those who tried to make him a fool. So they had to carefully calculate their words and actions towards him because that would have irreversible consequences for them and their families.
Alastair listened to them calmly and all expressed their opinion, but the subject of everything they said was the gossip that all of them already knew. They justified the minister and congratulated him on having the courage to raise his voice and face an evil that would destroy their traditions.
Mireya was in the middle of that fire shocked by the aristocrats who seemed to be happy and were taking advantage of the calm that Alastair was showing.
After a while, the whole hall fell silent. A heavy blow in that great commotion was like a roar that broke the noise that had been caused by the veterans and left behind only silence and shock. Jonathan took Mireyan with him and went near the throne where Alastair who was holding an ironic look towards the people in front of him, the soldiers were on alert and the aristocrats in silence.
"I hope you all enjoyed talking to each other, but it looks like you crossed the line a little with your words, minister Phelter, you more than anyone else shouldn't talk without thinking. Don't forget where you are standing."
The prime minister, the one who shamelessly caused the whole hall to turn towards a desolate girl and also took the courage to speak ill in front of the emperor who was a supporter of his brother's love, spoke again.
"Pardon me, your majesty I didn't want to offend you, we were just trying to solve a problem that affects us all."
"Problem?"
"Yes, you didn't hear us just now your majesty?
"Perhaps the fact that you all shout against one another so much that each one of you wanted his own opinion to be heard, so I couldn't hear you well."
"Huh! We are all showing a serious problem here. This girl dares to step into our kingdom and flirt with his highness. We as ministers and part of the aristocracy can't tolerate such shameless girl to affect the royal family."
"I think I heard enough!"
After all that time Alastair decided to get up from the throne and stand in front of all those present in the hall. Mireya and Jonathan were forced to move from where they were because it was unethical and the confrontation which turned into a trial began.
The king ordered all the soldiers to get ready and take all those people who raised their voices and spread rumors about Mireya, they would not only be stripped of their title but also all their property would be confiscated, as collateral for their lives, all the lies, rumors that they have spread, and training to make a fool out of Alastair.
Of course, they didn't expect this decision and the first among them was Phelter, he was the first to speak out against her and this would affect him even more than everyone else. He held the title with pride because he had won it in the war long ago when the former emperor was still alive. If now he would lose it because of an argument with the current emperor, his prestige and pride would be destroyed.
"Your majesty you can't do this, is not right to strip our title from us, you have no clear evidence that we should be punished so severely. And here the person to be tried is not us but someone else."
Alastair sat back on his throne and closed his eyes, signaling to one of the soldiers to release the minister who was coming to him. Phelter now was standing in front of him at a considerable distance.
He spoke again, trying in this way to regain the emperor's favor. Seeing that he was hearing him in silence, he began to approach him little by little and thought that as long as Alastair had given him the right to explain and stay close to him he would have a chance, no matter how small, of saving himself and the others who followed him a little while ago.
But nothing went as he wished, Phelter unknowingly fell into the trap set by Alastair and came closer than he should. His eyes met those of the king and the minister collapsed, he couldn't take his eyes off him.
The confrontation of the aristocrats ended with Phelter's head separated from the body and later expertise showed that his bones were totally dismembered. Which had nothing to do with the soldier who beheaded him on the spot.
Some said his body had been tortured even after everyone had left the room, and others told how Prime Minister Phelter met for a moment the eyes of his majesty and that caused his death.
What would be the real reason? No one knew but now no one wanted to raise their voice against the relationship of his highness Jonathan and Mireya, otherwise they would have the same fate.
If I remember it correctly from that part, his eye color is dark purple combined with blue which changes according to his emotions. In normal condition, they are purple perhaps like that of prince Jonathan, while some time is a mystery, no one who has seen those eyes has escaped alive.
But some who 'claim' they were on the scene when his eyes changed, say that those are purple like a Tanzanian stone, and shine with terrifying rage. But no one knows exactly whether this is true or not.
Hmm ... why did they describe a person as beautiful when he is mysterious? I would like to see him, even for a few seconds. Old Nasya never had a chance to meet him so I'm curious. Maybe I can meet him when he comes out or maybe he is in the carriage at the moment we're talking.
"You are drooling."
"Sorry?"
"Look at yourself, your saliva is all over the place."
Oh great god, I was so focused on my imagination that I forgot prince Jonathan was here. How can I tell him that I was thinking about his brother and that I would love to see how gorgeous he is?
'...Kyaaa, I should stop embarrassing myself in front of him.'
"So em ... where is prince Alastair now, is he in the carriage?"
"Hmm ... why would you want to know?"
'Hmph! I certainly want to see him, what other purpose do I have.'
"Oh my, it was nothing, I just would like to personally greet the first prince of our kingdom, nothing more."
"Oh is that so? But as far as I know, I didn't get any greetings being the second prince of the Raeon kingdom."
'Damn it! How did I forget such an important thing? I was so shocked by the employee that he came out from behind and scared me that it completely came out of my mind'
"Forgive me your highness, the second star of our kingdom, I was tactless with you at first, so I think I have to leave now. You have a long way to go to the capital and as long as there is no possibility to come with you then I shouldn't hold you any longer. So, excuse me!"
"...?!"
Ghaa! I finally managed to escape the situation without continuing to make a fool out of myself. Although I'm sorry I couldn't see the first prince, I'll have more options since I decided not to have the same fate as before. And I don't think that prince Jonathan will have a bad impression on me now, as long as I didn't appear as madly in love with him as the old me.
'Sigh, what am I going to do now that I am left alone here?'
"Jonathan I got everything ready, did you finish talking or not?"
"... Oh yes brother, we will get out of here soon!"
