Chapter 11 - Hathor in China

After we woke up; Anise, Colette, and I decided to horseplay; especially me because I'm a bit fun-loving and I like to horseplay. I've horse-played with my roommates at Willowbrooke before. Horse-playing is actually fun that is funny. Anise was riding her giantized doll, chasing me and Colette around the room. We all shrieked and laughed as we ran around the room until Colette fell down, laughing. "Dog pile," I shouted as I jumped on top of her. Then Anise jumped off of her doll and landed on me. We all burst out laughing. Then Sheena came into the room. "Hey. What are you 3 stooges doing?" she asked, smiling. "Uh, horse-playing," I said. "I figured you guys were having fun," Sheena smiled. Soon we headed for Beijing, China. It was huge. We met a Chinese tour guide. Sheena shook his hand and told him what we were looking for. He said there's a legendary dragon in the wall. He dared my party to tame the dragon. "But how are we going to tame something SO big and dangerous?" Sheena wondered. "We can all give it a try. I think I'm good at taming because I've tamed a rabbit, some butterflies, and a luna moth," I said. "Those are small animals that this situation has nothing to do with," Sheena said. "I know," I said. Then Mieu came up to us. "I remember talking to Mr. Tenebrae. I can prove that I can actually talk to animals. This ring around my tummy can not only make me breathe fire. It can also allow me to speak human language and talk to other animals," Mieu cried. Then he spotted a stray cat and spoke to it. "Mieu mieu mieu mieu. Mieu mieu," Mieu cried. Then the cat meowed. "Did you see that? Mr. Kitty cat said 'hello'," Mieu said. Then the cat purred and rubbed his cheek against one of Mieu's big ears. Then the cat came over to me and I stroked him. Then we took off to the Great Wall of China near Beijing. We were on the Albiore II. "We're not too far from the great wall," Noelle said. Raine and Ryo were looking out one of the windows of the giant aircraft. They were excited, especially Raine. She was probably in her 'ruin mode' again. "Damn! This wall is HUGE," Ryo cried. "Isn't this amazing? It's marvelous," Raine said. "Now remember, there's a statue of a goddess we have to find and a dragon we have to tame," Jade said. I started feeling excited, too. We soon landed and Raine dragged me into the entrance of the Great Wall of China. Oy. Here we go again, I thought. We saw giant terra cotta soldiers. When Raine touched one of the soldiers and it came to life. We both saw that. I saw it first. It raised its sword, trying to attack us. It swung at us but before it could hit us, Regal kicked off one of the soldier's legs. I pulled Raine out of the way because the soldier was falling where we were. It shattered into pieces. "Did that soldier just come to life?" Raine asked. "That soldier tried to kill us," I cried to her. Then Jade came to us. "We might be disturbing an ancient tomb," he said, looking at the broken terra cotta soldier that Regal had kicked down. The arm that was holding the sword wiggled its fingers and dropped the sword. How creepy! My eye twitched from that sight. Zelos saw it, too. "Awkward," he said. After we went up the steps and walked a few miles on the wall, we encountered a woman with her blonde hair up in a ponytail and a girl with pink hair and a doll that looked a bit like Anise's. Anise's had pointy ears and the pink-haired girl's had floppy ears. The girl looked a bit like me except she was slightly younger and I had red hair (My natural hair color was the same as Jade's, which is dark blonde). Next to the girl was a strange-looking big cat that looked a bit like a tiger. "Major Legretta,"Tear cried. "And there's Gloomietta," Anise cried. "It's Arietta! Stop calling me gloomy," shouted the pink-haired girl. "What is that cat-like thing next to you?" I asked the girl, whom must be Arietta. "It's a liger! How dare you call my friend a 'thing'," Arietta growled at me. I assumed that Legretta was the blonde woman. "I'll take care of you, runt," Legretta said to me. She pulled out twin guns and shot at me. She nearly got my toes, but missed a few inches. That scared the crap out of me and I actually jumped. "Scaredy cat," Arietta said to me. Sheena went to attack Legretta. Legretta was shooting at Sheena, but kept on missing her. Sheena used one of her card-like weapons knock down Legretta. Legretta pointed one of her guns at Sheena. Then we heard a roaring noise. It came from the chamber behind Arietta and her liger. It scared her enough to make her shriek with fright. Sheena came back to where my party was and Legretta stood up. "Let's get out of here, Arietta," Legretta said. "Right," Arietta said, getting on top of her liger in a riding position. Arietta and Legretta retreated. "That must be the dragon roaring," I cried. "Let's get it," Emil cried, running into the chamber. "Emil," Marta cried, running in after Emil. Then the rest of my party ran into the chamber after me. When we entered the layer, we saw a huge, blue dragon that was chained up and disgruntled. The sounds from Legretta's guns might have woken it up. The dragon growled at my party. I soon saw the statue of Hathor. It was behind the dragon. It was guarding the statue. "Distract it while I get the statue," I cried to everyone in my party and they did what I told them to do. I ran for the statue. Soon the dragon spotted me and swung its tail. I caught its tail in my stomach and it made me hit the wall with my back. I got up and my party and I fought the dragon until it was too weak to attack. Mieu hopped in front of the dragon. "Mieu mieu mieu mieu mieu," Mieu cried. The dragon let out a weak roar. "The dragon said 'this is my treasure and it comforts me because I'm trapped in here'," Mieu said. "Don't worry, we'll let you out of here," I said to the dragon. The dragon let out a soft growl. "The dragon said 'I'll give you this treasure if you let me out of here'," said Mieu. "Sounds fair," I said, petting the dragon. We got the statue, released the dragon from its chains, and the dragon slithered out of the chamber's entrance. The Albiore II was flying right next to the chamber. We put the statue in the giant aircraft. Some of us, including me, rode the dragon back to Beijing, following the Albiore II. When we returned, the tour guide was utterly surprised. The dragon cried tears of overjoy and relief and roared with joy. When we got back into the Albiore II, I heard King Tutankhamen's voice again. ìThe next treasure is the golden cobra with ruby eyes. The statue is also known as the 'Serpent Deity'. It's located in the ancient temple near Delhi, India. Watch out for danger," King Tutankhamen said.
