Ye Shu turned her wrist and looked at them teasingly. She had a strong murderous aura. "It's your turn."
The two men in black looked at each other solemnly. Just as Ye Shu was about to launch a fierce attack when thick smoke rose from all directions. The surroundings were shrouded in fog, and she could not see their whereabouts clearly. She narrowed her eyes and was about to focus on their position when the smoke dissipated. The two of them had long disappeared.
Ye Shu's eyes darkened. It seemed that they came prepared. She turned to look at the man in white who was lying in a pool of blood. She ignored him and turned to leave.
Although she was kind-hearted, she was also extremely vengeful. She disliked the way this man schemed against her.
After a while, Ye Shu stopped at the door of the room and turned around. She walked towards the man and shook her head. "Forget it, forget it. Since you're good-looking, I'll make an exception this time."
In the room, she placed the man on the bed. When she took his pulse, her gaze turned darker.
He was severely injured.
His meridians and diaphragm were damaged, and the wounds on his body varied in depth. There were all kinds of poisons in his body, and these poisons had accumulated for a long time. She could not help but click her tongue when she saw this.
How many enemies did he offend for them to be so ruthless with him? The most surprising thing was that he was still able to live until today. Furthermore, she couldn't even tell the depth of this man's strength.
However, this method of mutilation was somewhat similar to what was applied to the Host.
"You're lucky to have met me." Ye Shu smiled as she stood up. She turned around and took out a small dagger from the side room. Just as she was about to remove the rotten flesh with the dagger, the man in white suddenly opened his eyes. It was as if she was covered in ice as a cold light shot out from his eyes!
He grabbed Ye Shu's wrist tightly. A vicious aura engulfed him and the force was so strong that it seemed to crush her.
Ye Shu's eyes were calm. With a twist of her hand, the dagger was at the neck of the man in white. His eyes were cold and lifeless. He slowly released her wrist and fainted on the bed.
She sat beside the bed and sized up the white-robed man's face while clicking her tongue in admiration. She had to admit that this face was truly handsome. His good-looking features seemed to be carved out of jade, like a treasure bestowed by the heavens. His face was pale and had the beauty of a sickly prince.
Without the silver needles, Ye Shu could only use a knife to cut open the place where he was poisoned. Soon, a large pool of blood gushed out. She quickly tore the corner of the white-clothed man's clothes and tied it to the spot where the blood was spurted out. Her fingers carried a strong wind as she pressed on his acupoints.
His eyes widened slightly as he spat out black blood onto the ground.
It was not until midnight that Ye Shu finished treating his wound and fell asleep with her head on his arm.
It was as if Yun Che had a very long dream.
In his dream, countless men in black were chasing him relentlessly. He was poisoned and was unable to retaliate. Behind him was a cliff that was tens of thousands of feet high. He gritted his teeth and leapt! The ferocious beast in the cliff opened its bloody mouth and tore towards him!
He suddenly woke up.
He looked at the first rays of the morning sun shining through the window. A faint fragrance of peach blossoms wafted out. The interior of the house was old and dilapidated; it was very unfamiliar. Yun Che lowered his eyes, and the floor was clear and bright. Just as he was about to get up, he found his arms to be heavy and numb.
Lowering his head, he saw a woman resting her head on his arm. In a daze, memories flooded into his mind.
Did she save him?
It was no wonder that other than the poison of venomous insects, all the other poisons in his body had completely dissipated… The poison in him was something that even the sect master of the White Spirit Sect could do nothing about. To think that such a capable person existed in this barren lower realm.
Yun Che lowered his eyes to look at Ye Shu's peaceful sleeping face. His deep eyes surged as the first rays of the morning sun shone on the side of her face, emitting a mysterious light. Her face couldn't be seen through the veil, and her slightly trembling eyelashes seemed a bit lively.
Right at this moment, a clear cry came from outside. Yun Che withdrew his gaze, and the aura around his body became icy and cold.
He quietly extracted Ye Shu from his arm and took out his long sword. A brilliant light shone and a dense spiritual aura surged in his eyes. He quickly walked out.
A thought struck and he stopped in his tracks. He took out a brocade pouch from his waist and placed it on the table. He turned around and took a deep look at the sleeping Ye Shu before turning around to stride away.
When Ye Shu woke up, the room was empty and that person was no longer on the bed.
She frowned. This person was really rude. She had worked so hard to save him, yet he left without even thanking her.
She thought, "I must teach him a lesson the next time we meet!"
Ye Shu turned her head without thinking and saw the table shining with light. She stood up and walked over to pick up the brocade pouch. The brocade pouch was flat; from it she pulled out a jade whistle, a set of silver needles and a dagger.
"Did he place it here?"
She raised her eyebrows slightly and waved the brocade pouch in her hand. She couldn't tell what was so special about it, so she put everything back.
However, the set of silver needles had some use. They looked brighter than ordinary silver needles. The dagger looked a little valuable. There was a gem embedded in the middle, and the phoenix carved on it was exquisite.
She would take it as her reward for saving this man.
