In the hallway, stood a girl looking like my age with dark brown hair with piercing grey eyes. She was wearing a normal blue t-shirt with a jacket on, a pair of black leggings and tennis shoes. Her hair was braided and rested on her shoulder and a backpack on the other. She looked at Bryce as if she would kill him any second now. Her first appearance made Bryce, Clarisse and their gang laugh. But the girl's look stayed the same. "Who the hell are you and what the hell do you want?" Clarisse asked the girl. "I want you (points at Bryce) to stop beating and let go of him (points at me)". she answered. "And why should I follow what you said? I don't even know who you are." Bryce snapped. "My name is Jade Aurora Elessar. Pleasure to meet you." the girl answered. Bryce did nothing but scoff at her and signaled her to come to him. This Jade girl did what he signed. Bryce took a brief moment to look at her and threw a punch. This girl somehow did the most impossible thing you can do at this school. She easily dodged it and punched his stomach, causing him to gasp and catch his breath. The others didn't waste any time and started to fight Jade back. However, it's as if this girl is a genius when it comes to fighting. She easily dodged all of the attacks and payed them back with her own fist punch. In just a matter of seconds, Bryce and the rest of his gang were on the ground groaning in pain and was filled with cuts and bruises. For the first time in my life someone actually beat Bryce. And well Birkwood history says he was taken down by a girl. A girl who did a very great impression on her first day of school and made her name well known. She then looked at me. I was afraid she's going to beat me too. But instead she offered her hand for me and I took it. She pulled me up and took me to the hospital wing here at our school. She asked the nurse to give her some medical stuff and she cleaned my wounds herself. She then bandaged my cuts and scrapes as I watch in amazement at what she's doing. "There that should do it." she said. "Thank you." I managed, since my mouth feels numb from the wound. "That's one great first impression you did out there." I said. She let out a chuckle and looked at me. I really won't tell her, but those piercing, grey eyes of her's now look like as if its crystal. "Wow" I thought to myself. "Perhaps you won't spend your entire day looking in my eyes." she interrupted. I snapped back to reality and cleared my throat. "Mattheo Oliver Duncan" I offered my hand. She took it and we shook hands. "I guess you don't need to know my name anymore?" she answered. We laughed slightly. "Look I'm new here and don't know anything or anyone in here except you and the other one...." "Oh that was Bryce Birkwood. His father owns this school." I said. "No wonder why." she answered. I offered her that I would take her to class and she accepted it. We went to our classes together and ate lunch together, and at all costs, avoid Bryce, who still looks newly beaten up. We instantly became friends. After school ended we went our separated ways but I still keep thinking about her. I hopped on my bike and was off to work. When I arrived, I saw what I was not expecting. The café was empty. Not a single customer not even my own boss. I entered anyways. But then I saw two guys who were taller than me carrying a sack.
"You're coming with us weather you'll like it or not." one of them said. And then everything went black.
