Fraine is waving the phone in her hand.
"I dropped it on the floor when I had to catch you. I saw the cleaner pick it up and put it in your bag, but it disappeared in my mind to get it back when I leave."
Fraine stared at the guy who helped her earlier. But since she had no business with him, she handed the phone and did not wait for him to speak again.
She closed the door. However, the guy blocked the door from completely shutting it.
"Wait!"
Rodney placed his right palm on the door to stop it from closing. He honestly does not know what alibi he would say when he would knock on the door to check this girl's condition.
Gratefully, he remembered his phone was missing, and it actually was in her bag. He asked someone and borrowed a phone.
Fraine uses her strength to close the door, but what match did she have against the guy? She was irritated why this guy didn't leave now he had got his phone back.
"What do you want?" Drained asked lazily. She yawned to show that she was sleepy.
"Did you have your dinner already?"
Fraine is dumbfounded. 'Why did he ask?' Although she had no appetite, she ate a little earlier.
"I'm fine," said Fraine. She attempts to push the door, but it is still useless to match strength against the guy. "Can't you leave now?"
"You have been vomiting earlier and taking medicines. Aren't your stomach empty?"
"What do you care about?" Fraine frowned. She doesn't understand why the guy is insisting on it.
On the other hand, Rodney also realized that he was crossing too many lines.
Why did he come and even order a lot of dishes? Why does he care about this girl when she is just a stranger to him? He even didn't know her name!
'What's wrong with me?' He is getting irritated with himself.
Rodney calmed down and wore a solemn expression on his face.
"Don't get it wrong. I'm just concerned about the hotel's reputation. What if you died in this room? It will be a tremendous shock!"
Fraine raises a brow. Although Lopez is the wealthiest family in P Country, the Peninsula Hotel is owned by Crow Corporation, one of the giant conglomerates in the world, and she thinks they don't have a partnership.
So why is this guy concerned about the misfortune of somebody's hotel? Fraine thought. Then she came to a realization. She darkened her face and glared at the guy.
"And why are you thinking I will die tonight?" Frained blurted out. Anger surged in her chest. The guy is not only persistent, but she thinks he is also an idiot.
Rodney has been rendered speechless. He admitted to himself that what he said was not pleasant at all. But he couldn't think of another excuse for why he was here.
"I'm not thinking you are going to die. I just know it is not good if you take medicines without a meal. Look! My uncle is a doctor, so I know!"
Fraine blinks, staring at the guy with shock, but it only lasts for a second. She knows whose doctor this guy was talking about. It was Zaijan's father.
"I'm not hungry, and you can leave now," Fraine shooed the guy.
Suddenly, she felt bitter in her mouth. She used all of her strength, but the guy was still persistent in not letting go of the door. She gritted her teeth and hissed,
"You disturb my rest. Now I wanted to sleep back. Can you just disappear now?"
Rodney could see she was displeased with him, and now he looked like an idiot persuading him.
'Why am I doing this in the first place?' He doesn't understand either. This woman is not his responsibility. 'I must lose my mind!'
Rodney thought of leaving, but his body didn't move, and his heart was reluctant to go.
"Ahem!"
Rodney and Fraine both snapped back to their senses with a cough from a hotel boy. They have forgotten that they have an audience who watched a lover's quarrel leisurely.
The hotel boy thought they were lovers and had a fight. That is why they were indifferent to each other. But it was getting late, and he was worried that they would continue arguing in the hallway and it would disturb the other guests next door.
Then, he has to do something, thought the hotel boy. He asked Fraine, "Ma'am, where should I set the table?"
Fraine is taken aback, baffled as to what reply she must give to this hotel boy.
"I ordered nothing," she said.
"It was your boyfriend who ordered them, ma'am. I am here for room service."
"He is not my boyfriend." Fraine snapped the hotel boy.
The hotel boy only smiled. He had witnessed many times when a lover quarreled. It is what the girl often said. They would deny it. So he retorted to Fraine.
"Ma'am, it's getting late at night. You can continue quarreling inside the room to avoid disturbing the other guests. Please, it's just a lover's quarrel, so can you keep it to yourself?"
"Lover's quarrel?" Both Fraine and Rodney said at once.
The hotel boy just wanted to escape from that palace. He actually doesn't want to get involved.
Since Fraine was tired of holding on to the door, she involuntarily let go of the door after her arms felt numb. Rodney was putting on a lot of strength, so the door was open wide. The Hotel boy took this as an opportunity to enter the room.
He pushed the cart, rushed inside, and positioned it near the dining table. He immediately left the room and closed the door after taking back the phone he borrowed from a floor manager when the male guest asked for help.
Now to think of it. He was a little confused why the guy had to do some trick, like pretending he left the phone somewhere when it turned out he just left it in his girlfriend's bag?
"Ah, whatever!" Those lovers are both adults. The hotel boy is mulling over to understand the situation, but he gives up as he has no business with them.
Back in the room, Fraine was enraged when the hotel boy entered her suite without her permission and left just like that.
Moreover, the guy she wanted to disappear is now leisurely lounging on the sofa while browsing his phone.
'How arrogant!' Fraine continues fretting in her heart.
