Luke got home and seeing that it was 12 o'clock and everyone had headed to bed, he decided to grab a snack and head to bed as well. On his way he saw Jack's keys, his apartment card, shoes, wallet, and subway pass and decided that he would take it over to Jack tomorrow when the man was sober enough to appreciate the gesture.
Luke went to search the fridge for some cherry pie, but to his disappointment he found none. All he found was a note in the freezer taunting him for missing out on dessert.
[That was definitely my sister's doing... ugh!]
Deciding to give up on the search for something sweet, he headed up to the attic and hopped in bed only to realize that his bed and the rest of his room was slightly soaked like a lone rain cloud had wandered in and decided to drench his room only. He decided to put off the issue since weird things had been happening for a while since he moved up to the attic and he was not in the right mind to address the problem.
He put it off for tomorrow and decided to change the sheets and crawl into bed, since he had to get up early to help out old man Larry with his small café, since most people were on leave for Thanksgiving and he had to return Jack's forgotten belongings as well.
[Although I could have sworn he had shoes on last night.]
...
The next morning bright and early, Luke rushed downstairs only to catch Jack stumbling out of his sister's room while tidying his clothes. When he turned around and saw Luke he was visibly surprised and stammered out a good morning!
"Jack, I didn't know you came over last night! I thought you went home!"
"Nope, ...stayed" muttered the man as he rushed off, leaving Luke to wonder what that was all about. At least he patched things up with Eden and now Luke did not need to take his keys and stuff over to his apartment.
Luke departed to go help out old man Larry, meanwhile Jack headed home and was surprised to see that his apartment was not quite as empty as he had left it. Sitting at his coffee table was the familiar figure of cousin who at the moment looked just like Jack himself.
"How did you get in here?!", he shouted at his estranged family member who he occasionally called, sometimes regretfully when he was drunk.
"Well I just wanted to see what this Eden you talk so much about looks like, and I wasn't disappointed. That little angel of yours took me all the way home, he must really like you." said Jack's cousin with a weird smile.
"Umm... Michael, what are you talking about? Eden is a wo-man and she was with me last night. Ohh goodness! What did you do?"
"Well a little boy named Eden that looked just like Ara took me all the way back to your place. I think I'll keep him if that's alright."
"No! No! That is not alright! Okay? Just stay here for now while I sort everything out!" exclaimed Jack, as he frantically tried to think of a way to keep his crazy and a bit odd cousin from focusing on the family of the girl he loves. "Just stay here! I'll be back soon." stated Jack as he ran out to door to go talk to his grandmother about what he should do.
