Chapter 21 - Raid II

The battle was now in favor of the warriors' side, the bears had now reduced in number, and they seemed to be all worn out. Damien charged straight at the bear with very incredible speed, as he roared during the motion. With the only aim of devouring the beast, he threw down his claw mercilessly, which gladly met its opponent with so much force that it was sent flying backwards. Damien threw several punches which came along with fire, ripping and disfiguring its face. The bear was now walking on a limping leg. It stomped its feet on the ground, causing something Damien couldn't explain as at the moment. He found himself standing far from the bear, he wasn't in his wolf form the bear had no scar on its face and Raaz was behind him like before while the rest of his pack dealt with the betas who was supposed to be dead. Damien looked at his hand and then back at the bear.

"He must have somehow reversed time." Damien said.

"Indeed it did." Fay said as she levitated forward.

"This means trouble." Damien said out as he clenched.

"Indeed it does, especially when you are fighting a Centarion-god beast." Fay replied.

"What, I thought this was the zone for only basic-god beasts?" Damien said with a look of surprise.

"What a coincidence. We better escape while we can, unless we're dead." Fay said with no remorse. The bear smiled as it advanced toward them, Damien started to back off, and he knew that if he tried to fight any further, he'll probably lose this life of his. He was already praying for a miracle, no wonder Raaz avoided him. The bear was already in the air, with a black energy which took the form of his head with blood red eyes. It was already advancing towards them at an alarming rate. Inches away from Damien, it was knocked down to the floor.

"Kid, what are you doing here?" The guard who wore red beast armor with gold designs, and a v shaped helmet fixed on his head, firmly holding his sword which shone in red aura. Several other guards came in to protect them.

"You, take them to the king's palace, they seem like outsiders." The guard who initially came to their rescue said.

"Yes general." The two appointed guards said making a low bow. They held Damien firmly by the shoulders the guard almost implanted his sword on one of the wolves head when Damien refrained them.

"Stop!! They are with me." Damien yelled out.

"He's even got a pack. This is truly mysterious. Accompany them." General Xan said.

Damien was forcefully take in away, but one thing he noticed as he was being dragged to the kingdom walls. Fay was just floating behind them with her arms folded, does this mean that Fay couldn't be seen, and was like a ghost? This was sure to be the case, since they didn't seem to even notice her. Damien knew that the Tomb sure wasn't a game, and the brawling Alcatraz only led to random locations were the specific type of beast resided, he couldn't believe that all this while, he was been transported to locations around the world. Damien was taken into the magnificent looking palace. The whole place was well-designed, he looked around in awe as he walked past the hallway.

Soon, he was brought to the king who sat on his throne while romancing a maiden. The king was a chubby and fat type; he was a type who never should have been a ruler, since he lacked all basic leadership skills. The man oppressed the maidens of the kingdom, and non-dared to oppose, since they would face his wrath. Everyone feared him and obeyed the dictatorial order of King Jiro III. Damien was brought to his knees, but couldn't help but look at the king in anger, with the way he made the beautiful angel who was young enough to be his granddaughter. The king walked down the stairs holding a chicken ap on his right hand.

"Who's this tool." Jiro asked.

"We found him in the city walls my lord, he seems to be an outsider."

Jiro bent to Damien's eye level, he smiled when he noticed his pack which were behind him.

"Now, what planet are you from?" Jiro whispered.

Damien gathered enough force, then kicked him straight in the nuts causing him to lay low.

"Imprison him." Jiro said in a feeble voice as the guards nearby came to support him. The wolves tried to follow him, but they were blocked by an earth wall which circulated them.
