***ADDIE'S POV***
Did they not want me here anymore? What had been decided? What had happened while we were gone? None of this made any sense to me. What should I do?
"Addie, it's nothing bad." Callum said, as he leaned across the table, and placed a hand atop mine. "We have another mission of sorts for you. If you're OK with that." He looked a little apologetic now. It was almost as if he was regretting his decision to finalize things before talking to me.
Well, if Callum made these plans, if he thought this was best, shouldn't I just accept it? I mean, he's my brother, he's the king, and he should know best. Right? I had no reason to doubt him. He had always thought of my well-being above others when he made decisions about my life and my future.
