SELENE
After we've cooked our own lunch, which was Ruka and Axiesse's idea, we ended up eating simple fried chicken along with rice and salad, which was also their idea. They almost cooked everything that was inside my fridge if I didn't slap their hands and yelled at them.
I didn't really eat the salad because I don't really like lettuce and all since I only had them in my fridge, you know, for fun. But I did eat a lot of chicken and rice, I also made the gravy the way my mother taught me. It was made with a few changes to alter the tastes and for it to have a Selene type of charm into it, it was made with both love and annoyance. Of course, Onyx was also eating while we were eating since I love that little baby even if he has a bit of an attitude.
After we finished eating, we also ended up watching a few horror films, I suggested watching "The Conjuring 3" but Ruka was too scared and didn't want to watch it, that little coward. That's why we ended up watching a random drama movie that I didn't even know I had to begin with. It was so poorly done, the script and scenes were a mess, the actors looked like they were robots with how monotone they sounded and it was so cringey and cheesy that I didn't even notice that I dozed off.
I was only aware that I've been sleeping when the sequel of the movie ended and the credits were already rolling. I wished I never wasted my time and money on that crap, geez. I'll just have to remind myself later to give the movie to either Ruka or Axiesse since they seemed to have liked the movie, given that they said it looked promising, it was their idea to watch it to begin with even when I told them I wanted to watch "Mean Girls", because they were impressed and because they even watched the sequel that I also didn't know I had.
I wasn't the only one who fell asleep in the middle of watching the movie though since Mindy and Michael were also asleep even after I woke up while me and Shannie were laying on each other before we woke up at the exact same time, His highness, Onyx was also asleep and curled on my lap. I sighed, giving him a few pats before I reached out to get my phone from the table and ordered four boxes of pizza, two pepperoni, one ham and cheese and one hawaiian because Ruka and Mindy liked it. Just like Shannie, I also hated hawaiian pizza. I'm one of those "pineapples doesn't go with pizza" kind of people and I can go on and on about how I can support my claim. I can even fight to the death about how pineapples makes hawaiian pizza suck if I have to but I respect the ones who liked it. As long as they don't force me to eat it or get mad at me for not liking it anyway. And when I do eat hawaiian pizza, I take all the pineapple chunks off before I even put it on my mouth. I also ordered a lasagna for Onyx since he likes them, obviously.
When the pizza arrived, I quickly paid for it and gave a lot of tip because that's what I do as a good citizen. We ate as we watched yet another film after I prepared the lasagna for little Onyx. When Ruka looked at the time, only then did they realize that it was now 5:00 PM, they hurriedly jumped off the couch, almost even stumbling around the place before they said they were going home.
"Should I ask Liz to drive you home? Or should I call an uber instead? Which one do you prefer?" I asked, wanting for then to get home safely as they stood at the front door.
"Nah, no need! We got this! Our houses are near anyway!" Axiesse said with a smile, I quickly hugged her before I went to Ruka, Mindy, Michael and Shannie and gave each of them a hug.
"Yep, just a few minutes away from here!" Mindy stated, rearranging her bag.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah! Positive!"
"All right, then. You'd best be on your way, yes? Your parents might scold you. And I'm talking to you, Axiesse and Shannie." I said, looking at the two girls.
"Don't scare me, Selie." Axiesse said, shivering at the thought of her father getting mad at her again.
"No worries, Sena. My parents know that if I tell them I'm going somewhere with you, I'll be fine. They know you as a kind girl and friend after all!" Shannie said with a smile as we hugged each other again, I held her hand and lightly squeezed it before I nodded.
"Mike," I called which caused Michael to look at me, "You better make sure they're all safe, okay, Myers?" I said and winked, referring to him as my favorite movie killer of all time.
"Yeah, yeah, I get it." He said and rolled his eyes before patting my back rather harshly. He plays volleyball and has a heavy hand so his pat was painful rather than comforting but I resisted the urge to puke my intestines and lungs out and just gave him a smile.
"Hey, Ax," I called and she looked at me with raised eyebrows, "Next time you want to go and party all night, you better fulfill your promise not to drink even one shot or never make a promise you can't fulfill at all, okay? You were so drunk and knocked out last night. That includes you too, Ruka." I adviced, remembering how drunk they were the night before during Sheila's party.
"Yeah, dully noted!" Axiesse said.
"Whatever. Your alcohol tolerance is really low, how much did you drink last night anyway?" Ruka asked with a sigh.
"About half a shot? I don't know. I didn't keep track of it, I didn't really drink." I answered and they all nodded before they bade farewell.
"We'll see ya on monday then, Selie!"
"Bye, bye!"
"Thanks for the food and the comfy place!"
"Yeah! Although we do prefer to hang out at your manor before you decided to move out."
"Yes, you're welcome to stay and eat here anytime. Just don't complain like that, Ruka. I might hit you. Take care, guys! I'll see you on monday." I said and stared at them while they were walking away, only when they were out of sight did I close the door and locked it, figuring that I wouldn't get out to buy something later since I can just heat up the one box of pepperoni pizza that we never opened and ate earlier since we were already full or because they were heading out later for dinner. Onyx also had another lasagna anyway. He's slowly turning into Garfield now. I snickered at the thought before looking down and sitting on the floor, patting his head lightly.
"Well, Onyx. It's just you and me again now. You better behave." I said which caused him to bark before I laughef and started cleaning the living room, putting the spare futons back to the closets, washing the dishes and typing on my laptop for another draft chapter of my novel while munching on some potato chips, occasionally glancing at Onyx who had been playing with the squeaky toys Liz gave me earlier while giving pieces of the chips to him from time to time.
I glanced at my clock after finishing the chapter and saw that it's getting pretty late since it was already around 8:38 PM. I quickly got up, took a shower, changed into my pajamas and did my nightly routine before I laid on my bed, taking Onyx and laying him beside me, him using my arm as a pillow before I patted his head again as he licked my cheek and gagged, probably due to my moisturizer.
"I see that you don't appreciate the taste of my moisturizer, huh?" I laughed lightly before kissing his head.
"Well, too bad, because I'm not going to stop using it. Good night, Onyx." I said before I drifted off to sleep.
THIRD PERSON
As the pure silver moonlight shone through the glass window from Selene's room to her bed, illuminating and further accentuating her beautiful, ethereal and soft face, clearly deep in her slumber with her chest lightly heaving up and down, her breathing soft and steady with a small smile plastered unto her face, not even in the very least aware of a certain transformation that had been occuring from beside her and where the husky she thought to be just a normal dog once were, was a muscular, well-built, tall and very attractive young man just around her age under the warm blanket beside her, smiling gently at her and admiring her beauty.
Her long, silky and straight black hair, her relaxed and resting features, her pointed nose, her soft-looking pink lips, he just couldn't help it, she's just so beautiful that he completely forgot about how gross the moisturizer she wore tasted like. Inching closer to her, her arms wrapped around his head, bringing him even closer as he rested his head in her chest, his own muscular arms wrapping around her small, fragile frame around her waist, humming in content at how comfortable he felt around her, both as a dog and in his human form.
The two continued that way as the brown-haired male closed his eyes and started falling asleep, it was as if they were lovers for quite a long time with the way they held each other.
However, nothing and no one can prepare the ever so clueless black-haired girl, Selene for what will happen tomorrow when she wakes.
