Chapter 36 - Chapter 35

, Kai's thoughts weaved a tapestry of intrigue as he left the scene.

"All Might, huh? The symbol of peace,"

he mused, a hint of amusement coloring his tone. A subtle gesture of his hand triggered a cascade of memories, the intricate plotlines of My Hero Academia intertwining in his mind.

"Izuku Midoriya, the quirkless underdog, transformed by a strand of All Might's hair."

His analytical mind sorted through the narrative threads, revealing the secrets of this world.

As the realization dawned upon him, his lips curled into a wry smile.

"The entrance exam for UA Academy is just a few days away,"

he noted, a spark of determination igniting in his golden eyes.

Kai walked leisurely through the bustling Japanese streets, his curiosity piqued by the diverse range of street food stalls.

The savory aroma of takoyaki beckoned to him, reminding him of his own hunger.

Deciding to indulge, he approached the stall and ordered a plate.

As he savored the octopus-filled delicacies, he couldn't help but think about his journey so far.

The cashier, a friendly woman with a warm smile, greeted him.

"Good evening! How can I help you?" she asked cheerfully.

Kai returned the smile. "Hi there! I'll take a plate of takoyaki, please."

"Sure thing! Coming right''. The cashier skillfully prepared the dish, her hands moving in a practiced rhythm.

"Here you go, one plate of delicious takoyaki!" The cashier handed him the plate, and their fingers briefly brushed as he took it.

"Thank you," Kai said with genuine gratitude.

"You're welcome! Enjoy your meal," she replied, her eyes sparkling with warmth.

Kai found a nearby bench and savored the takoyaki. The burst of flavors took him by surprise, and he couldn't help but let out a satisfied sigh. He chuckled softly to himself.

"Quite a change from my European roots back at my earth," he mused aloud, earning a chuckle from the friendly cashier.

"You'd never find this back in Europe," he muttered, catching the cashier's attention.

She chuckled in response. "Food has a way of introducing us to new cultures, doesn't it?"

Kai nodded, a smile playing on his lips. "Absolutely. It's like a journey on its own."

The cashier leaned against the stall, engaged in conversation. "Speaking of journeys, are you a traveler?"

Kai chuckled. "In a way, yes. I'm new to this city, exploring and experiencing everything it has to offer."

After a long day of exploration, Kai found himself leaning against a railing overlooking a serene park.

The sun had set, casting a soft orange hue over the surroundings.

He took a deep breath, the tranquility of the moment washing over him.

'You know," he mused to himself with a faint smile, '

'for someone who's supposed to be ruling the multiverse, I sure do find joy in the little things.

He chuckled softly, his mind replaying the events of the day.

The bustling streets, the delicious food – they all held a charm he hadn't expected.

As he watched couples stroll by and children chasing each other,

Kai's thoughts wandered.

"Back on Earth, I was always chasing after something greater. But now, in this new role, I'm discovering the simple pleasures that make life meaningful."

His eyes twinkled as he gazed at the stars starting to appear in the darkening sky.

"Maybe that's the real secret to being a ruler," he mused aloud.

"To appreciate the beauty in both the grand and the mundane."

He stood there for a while, lost in his own thoughts, until a gentle breeze brushed against his skin.

With a satisfied nod, he started walking again, taking in the peaceful ambiance of the park.

"Who would've thought," he said to himself,

"that amidst all the power and mysteries, I'd find myself captivated by the slice of life?"

A few days went by and the day of the U.A entrance examination came by,

I made my way to the prestigious UA Academy, my mind buzzing with thoughts.

As I walked, I couldn't help but wonder about the possibilities of altering the course of the story.

"What if I made that green-haired protagonist fail right here?" I pondered, my curiosity getting the best of me.

After a few minutes of walking, I finally arrived at the entrance of UA Academy.

The sight before me was awe-inspiring – a sprawling campus with modern buildings and lush greenery.

Tall trees lined the pathways, casting dappled shadows on the ground.

The main building stood at the heart of the campus, an impressive structure that exuded an air of authority.

Students in their distinctive uniforms moved about, their faces a mix of determination and nervousness.

The energy in the air was palpable, a sense of anticipation for the challenges that lay ahead. Banners fluttered in the breeze, displaying the academy's motto and emblem.

I stepped inside the academy, where a bustling scene greeted me.

Countless participants were gathered in front of a raised platform, their anticipation palpable.

All eyes were on a charismatic blonde guy standing confidently on the platform.

It seemed he was the one taking us through the examination.

With a grin, the blonde guy addressed the crowd, his enthusiasm infectious.

"Hey there, fellow candidates! Welcome to my live show!"

He paused, expecting a response, but when none came,

he chuckled. "You guys are no fun. Alright, let's get down to business."

As he spoke, his words resonated with a mix of authority and a carefree attitude.

His presence commanded attention, and I couldn't help but be intrigued by his unique approach. He leaned forward, a glint of mischief in his eyes.

"I'll briefly explain the test to you all. But first, are you guys ready?"

The crowd's energy surged, and a chorus of affirmative responses filled the air. Excitement rippled through the participants,

I found myself caught up in the atmosphere.

The participants were organized into groups and

directed to various designated battle zones within the city.

Excitement buzzed in the air as everyone awaited the start of the test.

I found myself among a diverse group of candidates

As we gathered in our assigned zone, the blonde guy stepped forward, his voice carrying over the crowd.

"Alright, listen up! Here are the rules for the test."

His words grabbed everyone's attention, and a hushed anticipation settled over us.

"The test has a time limit of 10 minutes," he began, his expression serious.

"Within the city, there are three different levels of faux villains stationed around."

He gestured to a screen displaying images of these faux villains, ranging from relatively simple to more challenging opponents.

"Each faux villain is assigned a point value – 1 as the lowest and 3 as the highest. Your goal is to defeat these faux villains and earn points within the time limit."

Murmurs and whispers spread through the crowd as the rules sunk in.

It was clear that strategy and quick thinking would be essential to succeed in this test.

The blonde guy's gaze swept over us, his intensity growing.

"Remember, this is your chance to showcase your skills and determination. The more points you earn, the better your chances of making it to the next round."

Anticipation hung in the air as the tension built. We were all aware of the stakes and the opportunity that lay before us.

The blonde guy's voice rang out once more, this time filled with excitement.

"Alright, candidates! Are you ready?"

A chorus of cheers and shouts erupted from the participants, a surge of energy spreading through the group. With a triumphant grin, the blonde guy shouted,

"Then let's get this show on the road! Gooooo!"
