As I leisurely made my way back to the boys' changing room, the familiar routine of changing out of my gym clothes began. J
just as I was pulling on my shirt, a tap on my shoulder interrupted my motions.
Turning around, I was met with the enthusiastic gaze of a fellow student – Tenya Iida, if memory served me right. His genuine smile and the excitement in his voice caught me off guard.
"Hello! I am Tenya Iida, nice to meet you!" he greeted me with an outstretched hand, his tone carrying a sincere warmth.
I met his handshake with my own, introducing myself,
"Kai, nice to meet you!"
Completing the final steps of getting dressed, I couldn't help but be curious about the purpose of his approach.
After a brief moment of thought, I decided to shed some light on my Quirk without revealing too much.
"My Quirk revolves around physical strength. Essentially, I can modulate the force behind my punches – dialing up or down the impact based on the situation,"
I explained, watching as his expression shifted from curiosity to a mixture of fascination and understanding.
His excitement seemed to bubble over as he processed the information. "That's absolutely amazing! It sounds incredibly versatile,"
Lida exclaimed, his words punctuated by genuine enthusiasm. I nodded in acknowledgment, appreciating his genuine interest.
As our brief conversation continued, it became apparent that Lida held a deep appreciation for the various Quirks present among the students.
He shared his admiration for the diversity in abilities, and I found myself listening intently to his words.
It was evident that he held a strong desire to learn and grow alongside his peers, embracing the uniqueness of each individual's powers.
Our conversation flowed naturally, transitioning from Quirks to various other topics about the academy and its atmosphere.
Lida's excitement was infectious, and it was refreshing to engage in a casual exchange with someone who seemed genuinely interested in forging connections.
As the conversation drew to a close, Lida extended an invitation to join him and some other students for lunch the next day, which I gladly accepted.
The following day arrived,
As the previous day had been dedicated to the Quirk Apprehension test, I anticipated that today's schedule would involve Hero Basic Training.
My hope was that fate would pair me with Momo, as her focused demeanor and skill would likely complement my abilities well.
But the excitement of another day at UA Academy came with the anticipation of wearing our Hero costumes for the first time.
With thoughts swirling about the attire that would eventually adorn my frame, I couldn't help but let my imagination wander.
The image of a bold red cap perched atop my head, paired with a suit of sturdy steel armor, materialized in my mind.
And in an instant, the ethereal realm of my thoughts merged with reality as the imagined ensemble manifested itself into my actual attire.
The satisfaction of having a unique outfit, even if only for show, brought a fleeting sense of contentment.
As Aizawa's presence graced the room, the room buzzed with the impending activities.
He outlined the day's agenda in his characteristic no-nonsense style, succinctly and efficiently. The morning drifted by in a haze of mundane subjects like English, during which my thoughts wandered.
I immersed myself in a book, its pages providing a refuge for my contemplative mind. What exactly was I contemplating?
The answer eluded me, perhaps a mosaic of musings woven into a tapestry of abstract ideas.
The lunchtime interlude arrived, a welcome break from academic pursuits. In a scene reminiscent of the anime, the cafeteria boasted an array of delectable dishes.
Amid the clatter of trays and chatter of peers,
I chanced a glance at Momo.
Our eyes met, forming a brief yet unspoken connection that sent a ripple of warmth through me. Her fleeting glance and subsequent shy look away added an endearing touch to the day's proceedings, a reminder that beneath our heroic ambitions, we were still adolescents navigating the complexities of human interaction.
Resuming the classroom routine after lunch, a shift in atmosphere accompanied the sound of the door swinging open.
Collective attention snapped to the entrance, eager to decipher the newcomer's identity. All Might's entrance was unmistakable, his charismatic aura filling the room with awe.
Hushed whispers and admiring gazes followed his every move. His presence alone was enough to invigorate the spirit, an embodiment of the heroism we aspired to achieve.
"All Might!"
Everyone gushed, clearly impressed.
Well seeing the #1 pro hero teaching us can do that. I was also slightly excited.
Mind me I am not Midoraya, the creepy stalker fanboy, but I respect All Might for what he does.
He was teaching us today. He announced a battle trial and the need for costumes. A quick thought and a new outfit appeared on me.
"Hero Basic Training! The class that will put you through special training to mold you into Great Heroes! And for today we will be having a battle trial!!"
All Might said or declared with the same huge smile he always has. How the fuck he keeps that smile throughout the whole day??? I screamed inside my head incredulously.
"And for that, you will need costumes! When you are finished getting dressed, go out to ground beta so we can start our lesson!"
after saying that while he somehow still had that huge grin plastered on his face, he left the room.
and the room buzzed with excitement.
'At least I get to wear my costume'...
I thought and walked towards the changing room.
I saw my costume was waiting there
I looked around the room and saw everyone was excited (only boys were here since it was the boys dressing room) .
I also followed their example and started to put on my suit, when I finished putting on my costume I looked at myself in the mirror and I have to say... damn... I looked fucking cool and badass.
I am not narcissistic but I really looked badass... I know everyone would like to know (or see) how I look like so here goes.
We finally left the room one by one and headed towards ground beta, some were talking with each other.
I saw some guys checking out my costume, I didn't mind them since I would say myself that this would definitely attract some attention.
