"Now that we are out, do you have any idea where we should go?" Will asked as he and Aiden appeared outside the classroom.
"Didn't I just say that I have never explored this place?" Aiden replied as he glanced around his surroundings. It looked as though they were standing in one of the many hallways. "Let's start by looking for the person who spied on me."
"Since you got us ou, let's do that. But we should probably return after fifteen minutes."
Will and Aiden then started walking in the hallway while being on the lookout for other demons.
But to their surprise, they saw no one.
"Is it just me or is this hallway going on for an unusual amount of time?"
Now that Will pointed it out, Aiden also felt that the hallway was extremely long.
'System, do you know anything about this?' Aiden was suddenly on high alert as he put one of his hands inside his coat.
His fingers tightened around the hilt of the shadow dagger he had kept inside the pocket of his coat.
< Nope host, you are not in any sort of danger. You are just walking in a really long hallway. I think it will take you five more minutes to exit it if you keep walking like you currently are. > The system reassured him but Aiden sighed.
"Will, we are gonna speed run the rest of the hallway."
"And how are we gonna do that?"
"By using shadow walk the entire way."
And with that, the two of them spent the rest of the time vanishing and reappearing continuously.
'System, show me how much elemental energy I have left.'
[ Elemental Energy: 224 / 300 ]
'I still have plenty of it left and the good thing is that I am reaching the end of the hallway too.'
Aiden and Will suddenly stopped teleporting as they now had a huge gate in front of their face.
The gate was plain black in color and stood around 10 feet in the air. But the strange thing was that the gate had no visible things to open it.
"Goddammit! I give up now. Let's go back, Will."
Seeing what a weird place they were in, Aiden just decided to give up and return back to the classroom.
"Already giving up? I thought you were supposed to be more competitive as a royal prince."
Aiden and Will both turned back with alert expressions as they saw a girl standing behind them.
The girl was none other than Zoe.
"Who are you?" Will looked as though he had just been told that he was an undead corpse.
After all, Zoe being there was a shock for him.
"How did you come here Zoe?" Aiden asked in a completely serious tone. "Don't tell me you are a shadow user too?"
"You don't need to be a shadow user to leave the class idiot. You just need to use your brain a little. It's that simple."
Zoe rolled her eyes at Aiden's question before turning towards the gate.
"So this is the thing blocking us from seeing the rest of the school huh." Zoe stepped forward and examined the gate with a curious expression.
"Us?" Will looked confused about Zoe's statement as she turned back and raised her eyebrows.
"What? You think you two are the only ones curious about this place?" She asked as Will looked stupefied.
"But I never said that!"
"That doesn't matter. Now shut up and let me examine this thing."
Zoe turned her back on both of the boys and started examining the gates again.
"What just happened..." Will turned to look at Aiden who shrugged.
"I guess you were just defeated by her. SHe didn't even need to use an attack." Aiden replied as he turned his attention towards the hallway.
'How could she travel so fast? It took me 6 minutes to travel across the entire place and yet she was just behind us without having the shadow element.'
If Zoe also had dual elements, Aiden would definitely rethink about the awesomeness of his system.
After all, he was the only remaining person who didn't have a dual element.
< Don't be sad host. I can give you the element of love if you want. > The system consoled him as Aiden sighed.
'I don't think that's an actual element host. But still, thank you for asking.'
Aiden and Will then stood there and let Zoe completely examine the gate.
"Well, we can't unlock this. Let's go back." She sighed and turned towards Aiden.
Will and Aiden exchanged a glance when they heard her words as both of them turned to stare at her.
"Why do you want to come with us?" Aiden asked. "I thought you could travel alone."
"Are you dumb, royal prince? Since you can travel with a group, why would I waste my elemental energy to travel alone?" Zoe threw the 'royal prince' title as an insult which annoyed Aiden.
'System, are girls really this annoying?'
< Kek, no comments host. >
'Did you just kek me?'
Somehow, the system's reply seemed as worse as Zoe's insult.
"Oh, by the way, everyone knew that you guys were out of the class so there was no point in hiding." Zoe added as Aiden suddenly smiled.
"We weren't hiding from them. We were actually hiding from anyone that might see us here." Aiden knew that he would beat her this time but unfortunately, he was wrong.
"Anyone other than the people on our level and below could see you both. So that was a wasted effort." Zoe replied while turning to look at the hallway.
"Aiden, just give up. She is too smart for us to defeat." Will put a hand on Aiden's shoulder before both of them sighed.
'Let me just gain a few stat points. I will invest them in intelligence.'
< Host, inverting points in intelligence doesn't make one smarter and even if you did collect enough points, that girl would still beat you. > Even the system was against him now.
'Being beaten by one girl hit hard but even the system is doing it. I guess I should follow Will's advice and give up.'
Aiden sighed once again before he started teleporting all three of them back to the classroom.

In the office of the headmaster of the Red moon academy.
"So they tried to see the rest of the academy too huh. Too bad that they gave up after reaching the gate." A man sitting on a leather chair said while putting a cigar down on the desk in front of him.
He had a black mustache on his face and was wearing a blue suit.
"Yes headmaster, they gave up there. But no one makes it past the gates. They are just too tough." Standing in the opposite direction of the headmaster was Kisuke.
He himself had been placed in the imperial class and his classmates had tried to do the same thing.
But sadly, they had been stumped at the gates.
"But for some reason, I have a feeling that this time, someone will pass them." The headmaster stood up and looked at Kisuke.
"Make sure that you pay more attention to every single one of them."
Kisuke nodded with a determined expression as the headmaster smiled.
"I just have a feeling that the students from the imperial class this year will create history."
