"Why did you ask her name?" Aiden's mother asked as he raised his eyebrows.
"Just felt like asking her name. Do you have any idea to which family those people belonged to?" Aiden asked as Aysel thought about it for a second.
She was about to say no when the girl's name suddenly made her remember something.
"Zoe Nightingale. Her family is the nightingale family and they are masters of the dark element.' Aysel replied as Aiden looked surprised.
"So I guess her family is pretty powerful huh." She replied as Aysel suddenly raised her eyebrows.
"She is in your class you know." She said as shrugged.
"It's not like I pay attention to the people in my class." He replied as Aysel rolled her eyes.
"If a girl as pretty as her was in my class, I would have definitely paid attention to her." She replied as Aiden moved a few feet away from her.
"That sounded wrong mother. I am having second thoughts about you." Aiden said slowly as Aysel sighed.
"I didn't mean it in that way Aiden. I was in a lesser noble's class which just includes all the children who will be failures. If your class is the most prestigious one, mine could have been called the worst. Though no one outright said it." She replied before turning her gaze away from Zoe and the three members of the nightingale family.
"Anyways, have you made any friends in school? Cause judging from what you said, I have a feeling that you didn't make any friend." Aysel asked as Aiden nodded.
"You are absolutely right mother." He said as Aysel sighed.
"But…" Aiden added as his mother suddenly looked excited.
"I did meet a boy named William Alroz." He finished his sentence as Aysel looked surprised.
"William Alroz? Did he have lightning-colored hair or perhaps hazel eyes?" Aysel asked as Aiden nodded.
"He had both of them'" He replied as he was confused why his mother looked so surprised.
"The head of the Alroz family is a member of the order. The Alroz family usually has demons who can control lightning but one in every three demons have the light element instead of the lightning element. I heard that they recently had a child who could use both the elements." Aysel replied as it was Aiden's turn to look surprised.
"Weren't demons with the light element supposed to be extremely rare?" He had heard this from the Moon wolf when Kisuke had been battling it.
"Demons will light or life elements are extremely rare in the demon realm. Only the Urahara family and the Alroz family have chance of giving birth to demons with the light element," Aysel explained. "In the rest of the continent, you might only be able to find a single demon with a light element after searching at least 20 to 30 cities."
"Then why did you ask me about his appearance?" He asked in reply as he thought how powerful Will would become.
"The Alroz family has a special trait. All lightning users in their family have natural purple-colored hair while the light users have hazel-colored eyes. That is why I asked you about his appearance." She replied as Aiden sighed.
"So the girl I just met has the dark element while Will has the light and lightning element. Great, now I will be beaten by both of them." He said as Aysel suddenly looked offended.
"Do you doubt my skills as a teacher?" Aysel asked as Aiden looked at her with a judging expression.
"Mother, weren't you the one who just said that you have never taught anyone before?" Aiden asked as Aysel coughed a little.
"There is a time for everything. Anyways, let's train you now." Aysel said as she clapped her hands twice and a cluster of trees appeared in front of them.
"How did you do that?" Aiden asked with wide eyes as Aysel smiled.
"Did already forget? I have the space element kid. This is just a small thing which I can do." Aysel replied as she then stared at one of the trees.
"The first thing which I will teach you is this." She said and raised her right hand towards the tree
A ray of shadow-colored beam shot out of her index finger as it tore through the air and hit one of the trees. A hole was created in the trunk of the tree as Aiden raised his eyebrows.
"That seemed like a really cool move but the end result kind of fell short my expectations." Aiden commented as Aysel smiled at his words.
"Just look at the tree Aiden." She said as Aiden moved his eyes to look at the tree.
And he was stunned by what he saw.
The small hole which had been barely three inches wide was now three times as big. And the shocking thing was that it kept on increasing.
"If you remember what you read in your books, the shadow element is a mixture of the light and dark element. This is said because it has the speed of light as well as the destruction of darkness though it's quite low compared to the originals." Aysel explained s in front of Aiden's eyes, the entire tree vanished.
"Now you try it." She added as Aiden turned to look at her with a surprised expression.
"How am I supposed to do it?" He asked as Aysel raised her eyebrows.
"Didn't you just see me do it? Well, I will repeat my actions." She replied and raised her right hand.
Another beam of shadow escaped from her hand and hit another tree as she turned to look at Aiden with a satisfied expression.
"How the hell am I supposed to replicate that by just seeing you do it?!" He asked with a dumbfounded expression as Aysel looked surprised.
"Isn't that how you do it? I show you what you have to do and then you try to copy me?" Aysel asked as Aiden facepalmed.
"You really don't know how to teach someone, do you? First, you have to teach me the basics of the technique and then move towards executing it." Aiden replied as Aysel slowly nodded.
"Aiden, are you really a ten-year-old?" She then asked as Aiden rolled his eyes.
"Did you just forget my age mother?" He asked back as it was Aysel's turn to roll her eyes.
"You shouldn't talk back to your mother like this." She replied as Aiden raised his eyebrow.
"What about other people?" He asked jokingly but Aysel took the question seriously.
"If the other person is a rude noble, go ahead and talk in any way you like." She answered as Aiden sighed and turned to look at the trees as he saw that the second tree was also gone.
"Mother, you should never teach someone." He said as Aysel didn't reply to his question.
"Raise your right hand towards the tree you want to strike and summon a tiny bit of your shadow to your index finger." Aysel suddenly said as Aiden looked surprised but followed her instructions.
He used his shadow manipulation skill to summon his shadows upwards as he turned to look at his mother who was nodding at his actions.
"Good thing you know shadow manipulation. It would have taken us a few days to teach you that and our time is limited anyways." She replied as Aiden felt surprised.
'How does she know the name of the skill system?' Aiden didn't think that anyone except him knew about his skills and their names.
< It's because shadow manipulation is a basic skill for shadow element users' host. They don't have skill progress and instant skill level up to help them. They have to practice for months to increase their range and time host. > The system replied as Aiden was once again grateful that he had a system.
"Now take a deep breath and think that your shadows are like a beam. Just like how you imagine creating a sword, try creating a beam." Aysel instructed as Aiden did the exact thing she told him.
"AHHH!"
But unfortunately, the result was quite painful.
