After talking to many females, Lyra got to know many things about the beast world. Here females can have as many mates as they want but a male can have only one mate in his lifetime. Also, females can cancel their spousal relationship with males if they don't like them anymore. It was sad for males, but given the less population of females, it was understandable.
After completing her food, Lyra got up from her place to look for water to drink. Hearing about a small stream from other females, she walked out of the banquet. After drinking, she turned around and started walking back into the banquet but stopped when she suddenly bumped into someone.
"Ah!" Lyra winced while holding her forehead and looking up at the one she bumped into.
It was a handsome man who was a head taller than her with crimson-colored nape-length hair with bright dark brown eyes. He was dripping with masculine charm and she couldn't stop herself from comparing him to Lucas. This man had broader shoulders, and a masculine body with a serious face, whereas Lucas was lean with muscles in all the right places.
Noah was getting bored entertaining his father's guests and went out of the banquet to take a breather but he never guessed that he would bump into a goddess. In the beginning, he felt annoyed because he was not in a good mood until he looked at her face.
He went blank and his heart started to beat furiously. Her soft body against him felt so good that he couldn't control his lips from arching.
Lyra was the first to break from her daze. She put her hand on his chest and pushed him a little to set some distance between them but it failed when the man tightened his hold on her instead of pushing her away.
Her small waist was seized in his hands and she felt him pulling her closer to him. She started to struggle but halted hearing a deep baritone voice.
"You bumped into me and now you are thinking of running away from me?"
Lyra blinked "Oh I'm sorry, I did not see you coming this way because of the dark. I apologize"
He smiled "If you are sorry then compensate me"
"Compensate? You also bumped into me, why should only I compensate?" She was annoyed by him.
"Okay baby dove, then I will be the one to compensate you," he said smirking.
"How?"
"Like this", he bent down and captured her lips in his and started kissing her. He nibbled on her bottom lips and licked the side of her mouth.
Lyra went blank for more than a minute trying to process his method of compensation. Why were men here so shameless? first, it was Lucas and now this stranger. After coming out of her stupor, she started struggling against him.
Meanwhile, he pulled back to give some time for her to breathe and once again attacked her lips. Noah was lost in his intoxication when someone forcefully pulled him apart from Lyra and punched his face.
Lucas finished greeting his father and went to look for Lyra but didn't see her near the bonfire. Then he started searching for her near the banquet to only find his mortal enemy kissing his beloved.
He was overcome with extreme jealousy and that turned into anger as he marched toward them and separated them.
"HOW DARE YOU!" Lucas screamed while punching Noah in the face.
Lyra screamed seeing the fight as Lucas continued punching the stranger without any restraints.
"How dare you touch my female!? You scum, I'm going to kill you today" Lucas seethed in anger.
Lyra didn't know what to do and completely froze in her place. Seeing the commotion, beast kings stood from their place and came down.
Both wolf king and lion king saw that the one to cause the disturbance was their children and looked at each other. They were friends from childhood and became kings at the same time and also wanted their children to become friends. But things didn't go as they wished because of some tragedy. Noah left Lucas's brother's side when they were attacked by stray beasts. He confessed that Lucas's brother was the one to sacrifice himself to stop them from reaching the city but Lucas didn't believe that and they became enemies.
After taking a few blows from Lucas, Noah came to his sense and he too started fighting back. Both were three-star beasts but Noah was more experienced in combat fighting and soon started gaining an advantage.
Seeing blood all over Lucas's body, Lyra started to panic and wanted to stop the fight but was pulled away from Ruby.
"You shouldn't get involved in male fights. Once they start fighting, they cannot be stopped"
"But Lucas is getting injured. He is bleeding a lot" Lyra said panicking.
"Is this your first time watching males fight? they are fighting because they want to become your mates"
"What? Are they fighting because of me?" she said in disbelief.
Ruby just gave her an 'Are you stupid' face and continued watching the fight.
Watching enough of their sons, the wolf king and lion king released their beast pressure to stop them from fighting.
Lucas and Noah blew away from each other and fell to the ground while panting heavily. Lucas was getting ready to start fighting again but was stopped by his father.
"Father let me go! That bastard touched my female, I will kill him" Lucas bellowed loudly.
His father tsked at him and said "Stop fighting unnecessarily, you both are making a commotion in the banquet. Don't you know the importance of this banquet?"
"But father he kissed my female," Lucas said with anger-filled eyes.
"We can solve that silently, so just wait until the banquet is finished then do whatever you want," Lucas's father said and dismissed him.
On the other side, Noah's father the lion king looked at his son, "You disappointed me today Noah. This is the banquet for the wolf tribe and you started a commotion?"
"I'm sorry father, this will not happen again" Noah apologized to his father and bowed.
"Why were you fighting in the first place?"
"Father I like that female with blonde hair and blue eyes. I want to become her mate"
Noah's father turned towards Lyra and was surprised by the beautiful woman standing near Lucas. No wonder both the king's sons took fancy to her.
"I will talk to the wolf king about this but making her fall for you depends on you," he said and left.
Watching all this commotion, the fox king narrowed his eyes. He too was mesmerized by Lyra's beauty because his tribe's females were the most beautiful female after mermaids but the female in front of him now was otherworldly beautiful.
He was always prideful because males couldn't help but fall for his tribe's females and that is how he made the eagle king his son-in-law. The eagle king fell in love with his daughter and took her as his mate which helped the fox king to have him on his side.
The plan he made to separate the wolf tribe and lion tribe was still in the process but if two princes from both the tribe take one woman as their mate it will become difficult for him.
The fox king for the first time in his life felt that he has lost and that too was because of a delicate female.
This woman piqued his interest but too bad he will not hesitate to kill her if she hinders his plans.
