"I think we should leave now, Your Majesty," Alice said being careful not to address him by his name. While Kyrell was busy with Lyra's mates, it was easy for her to slip in and say things that might cause misunderstanding but when Kyrell was alert, it was second to impossible to fool him.
He had been oddly wary of her since she stepped inside the eagle tribe. It was not like this in the past. When Kyrell was still an outcast amongst the Eagle royalty, it had been less of a problem insulting him or tormenting him. But now, he was the king, a figure that she could not cross without consequences. Hence, it was better for her to keep her mouth in check while he was more present in the situation and act behind the scenes.
