"Your majesty! we have been attacked!"
Hearing the merman's words Renold shouted "Who dares attack us inside the ocean, kill them all"
The merman shuddered to hear his loud voice and answered timidly "Your majesty the one who attacked us is a single snake beastman"
Renold widened his eyes 'It is him'. Lyra panicked 'It must be Blake, I hope he is alright
She turned towards the king and said "It must be my spouse, Please don't hurt him, He is here searching for me"
Renold cackled 'Us hurting him? We will be thankful if he doesn't rip us apart '
The King struggled and got up from his bed "I will talk to him, After all, it was my son who created this mess"
Renold instantly opposed "No father! He is an immortal beastman, With your health condition, you can't face him. Seeing his temper he will not talk with you before ending your life"
His father sighed "Then are you telling me to let you face him?" 'You can't handle it' was written all over his father's face
Renold whined "Father"
His father chuckled "Let me go, son, I have met many like him" 'One of his old friends was like that, a short-tempered idiot'
"I'll go, Only I can handle him" a soft voice from the corner spoke breaking the conversation between the father-son duo.
Renold and his father turned to the voice and saw a beautiful female smugly standing with her hands crossed around her chest.
Lyra smirked at them "I told you guys to let me go sooner, But you didn't listen"
"Renold, bring her out to the entrance" the king ordered
Renold glanced at Lyra and his father and blinked
"Renold! Don't you hear me?"
"Ye Yes father, I'll bring her out" he stuttered and answered

Blake got near the ocean following Lucas and Noah. As they couldn't enter the water he snatched one of the mermen who was caught and asked him to lead the way to wave city.
After swimming for some time he finally reached the place where his Lilly was, his heart constricted in both relief and pain, Relief because he finally found his beloved and pain because he was not able to protect her properly. It took him hours to reach her 'What if the one who took her were stray beastmen? what if this happened again when he was not around?' Those what-ifs made him take the biggest decision in his life which even he never thought of having.
Following his pull towards his mate, he came near the entrance of the city. Few mermans sensed a foreign being in their territory and went into guard attacking him. Blake took a glance at them and coiled his tail around them smashing them onto the rock, he continued killing anyone who came in his way.
After walking for a distance Lyra spotted Blake in his beast form destroying everything on his way. Her heart ached to see him that way he looked like someone completely devoid of emotion and lonely, his gorgeous emerald eyes were empty, his smiling face was sad. She realized how much influence her presence was on his life. Earlier when she dreamt of her parents, for some time she thought of going back to her world, but now she understood that her presence here was more necessary.
Her eyes teared up, she cried out "Blake! I'm here!"
Blake halted his actions hearing her soft voice 'His Lilly' he slithered towards her and took her into his embrace with his tail. His head nuzzled against her face.
Lyra put her hand on his head and caressed it
"I'm okay Blake, sorry for worrying you"
Blake turned into his human form and embraced her in his strong shoulders as though he wanted to rub her into his very existence.
Lyra hugged him back and caressed his back consoling him "I'm here now, it's alright Blake"
"You are hugging me too tightly, you don't want our babies to be crushed do you?" she jokingly added
He continued hugging her until it clicked him
'Crushing the babies? What does it mean? Don't tell me...'
Blake broke their hug and cupped Lyra's face "Repeat what you just said" he whispered
Lyra grinned at him "You only have strong muscles, No brain"
"Lilly...." he whined
She chuckled "My dear dumb snake, I'm pregnant, We are going to have babies"
Blake widened his eyes, then opened and closed his mouth to say something but couldn't utter a word and just hugged her, Lyra smiled and asked "Don't you feel happy? Why aren't you saying anything?"
"I'm very happy Lilly, thank you" he could only utter that much. He was overwhelmed with unknown happiness brimming in his heart, he was happy to have children but it was because it was his Lilly's children that he was so much happier.
Renold watched the interaction between the two and felt sour, it was not like he liked her, but he was somewhat attracted to her. She treated her mate very well, the stark opposite of haughty females he have seen. He needed her help because his tribe was more important to him.
"You should get out of the ocean as soon as possible or it is harmful to the child," Renold said breaking their happy moment
Lyra remembered the doctor's words and looked at Blake "Hurry! bring me up the shore. We should leave this place"
Renold continued "You cannot travel for such a long time, You will complete your pregnancy before you even reach the tribe"
Lyra turned at Blake inquiring him, he nodded his head "It is true Lilly, I being a male can travel faster but traveling with you now that you are pregnant may be risky"
She frowned "Then where can we go now?"
Renold interrupted them again "You can stay on mermaid's island, I will provide you a house, think of it as compensation for kidnapping you"
Blake clenched his jaws, his eyes turning into slits "Don't think that I forgave you fish! if you are scheming something by doing this then get ready to die"
Renold raised his hands in defense "Calm down snake, I'm just doing this for Lyra" and winked at her.
Blake took a threatening step, Lyra sighed and held Blake's hand "Let us do as he says, our babies are more important to us now"
Blake threw a glare at Renold and took Lyra in his arms swimming up.
"Wait, don't cross the entrance! I have to provide a water bubble to her" Renold shouted
Blake continued swimming as though he didn't listen to his words, Lyra frowned and looked up at Blake.
"Don't worry Lilly, you have my protection on you. When we mated, you took my swimming abilities and can easily swim and breath underwater" he cleared her doubts
Her eyes gleamed and she shook his arms and asked "Really? I can breath underwater now?"
After he nodded his head Lyra left his embrace and started swimming herself, at first she felt a little uncomfortable but soon was able to breathe. she smiled in delight and started swimming upwards.
Blake smiled faintly seeing her excited face and followed her. After coming out of his stupor Renold also followed them.
As soon as she reached the shore a warm body engulfed her, she felt teardrops on her shoulders and heard a quivering voice "I finally found you"
