Darcio was informed by the guard to leave for the rose castle as soon as possible. He was very much confused by the sudden necessity for his master to urge him to this extent.
He knew his master well. Demir never really cared about things unless they regarded his female. Darcio suddenly felt nervous thinking that something might have happened to the lady until he reached his destination.
Darcio didn't know whether to breathe a relief or to hold his forehead. His guess was fortunately wrong and his master's female was fine. But the crisis he faced right now was not something simple. The little lion cubs that he sometimes saw were lying on the bed taking in feeble breaths.
Their tiny lips were ghastly pale and bluish on the edges. 'Poisoning' Darcio was able to guess that much as soon as he caught a glimpse of the cubs' faces. He furrowed his brows hearing about the said poisoning incident.
