A girl with long blackish brown hair stirred and saw she was in a cell with a dying man and what looked like goblins looking at her. She moved to check on the man before she saw a screen pop up in her view,

Liara thought, 'so, those light novels I read with Lucca was right? um, do I have a novice pack?'

The System dinged,

She thought hurriedly as she saw a male goblin started to come over, 'Fuck, it looks horny...System, use all tokens before it gets close enough to satisfy its thirst.' She tried to back away from it as she heard,

She muttered as she felt her back hit the wall, "anytime now..."

It dinged,

When the goblin got close, she closed her eyes in fear before she heard a crackling noise. She opened her eyes to a blonde man kneeling to her with a blackened goblin dead on the floor. He said, "I am sorry that we're late, my lady." After some sounds of battle she saw fifteen men knelt to her.

She exhaled, "I don't blame you so, please rise." When they did she asked, "Can you check if there are any survivors?"

The men stood at attention as Laxus bowed to her, "Swordsmen check the caves for survivors. Archers, make sure no goblin or monster enters this den." The men saluted before following orders and left before Laxus asked, "Are you hurt anywhere...did they do anything before we got here?" He took the initiative and looked at her to see if she was harmed in anyway. He showed a respectful and caring gaze to show his loyalty.

Liara said, "I am fine Laxus, I'm just..." she looked at the old man and said, "a little sad we couldn't save them."

She looked down a little forlorn as she saw the dead man, she didn't know his name but, still. Laxus comforted, "Master, I understand your sentiment but, we can't save everyone especially, when we are on the run."

Liara exhaled, "I know but, we can at least bury the dead." She moved to go outside to get some air.

Laxus thought, 'I need to become stronger to protect her. I, as her subordinate, failed to protect my lady. She may've forgiven my mistake but, I will make sure I won't let it happen again.' He watched her leave the monster den and said, "Clean the battlefield and bury the dead. Tomorrow, we will train harder to keep this incident from occurring again."

She didn't blame him since, they were just 'born' in this world so, there wasn't anything to forgive. She went out and sat on a large rock outside the goblin den to think and watch the lush forest outside.

She thought pedantically, 'So...to recap, I went to Jiaolong Lake to be able to think about stuff and I end up in some fantasy world. I don't recall smoking anything nor eating any mushrooms. So...how or why am I here?'

An archer watched the surroundings in a tree above her and asked respectfully, "Princess, weren't you with Master Laxus?" He then regretted it as the other four glared at him for a second.

Liara said, "I just came out for some air and to think about some stuff. You guys can go back to what you were doing but, if a deer comes by can you please shoot it?" She wasn't exactly used to the smell of blood. Even though, her family was a clan of warriors and assassins; she didn't have the talent or interest in fighting.

The archers smiled and glanced at each other, "If we see a deer, we will hunt one for you, Princess." Even if they were summoned by the system, they were living people. So, when they heard her be polite to them and not order them around or treat them harshly.

When she was about to lean against the tree she heard,

She thought, 'pet token? does this mean I get a mount? System use the token and have Laxus find the map.'

After a bit, Laxus ran to her and said with red eyes, "Princess, I found a map to the Queen's old territory. We can stay there and regroup before we can deal with those traitors."

She said bitterly, "Laxus, I had been thinking of leaving the clan and creating a new one for a while. I already know that I didn't fit in there especially, when my ideas kept being turned down." She looked down at the maple leaves that coated the forest floor before, looked around at everyone with sad and gentle eyes, "If any of you wish to leave because of this, I won't blame you."

The archers jumped down in front of the swordsmen and knelt down to her before the swordsman behind them did the same. Laxus was surprised for a second before they said, "We will follow our princess through water and fire. Where you point is where our swords shall be."

Liara gently smiled, "Thank you, how about we rest for a bit before we head towards Jiaolong City?"

The men said at the same time, "Yes princess," The men dispersed to gaurd the area and set a small camp to cook lunch. She then heard,
