Just when the two heard the sound of footsteps, they moved to protect her. When she saw who it was she said, "Indra, Asura; stand down..." The two cautiously backed off but, was ready to attack if it went sideways. She then said, "Hi daddy,"
He said, "Don't 'hi daddy' me; I got reports that you killed Ren and that you were leaving."
She lowered her head and chuckled innocently, "To be fair, I am not guilty of the former." She exhaled with a frown, "Me and Ren...plus, my friends I guess; had a plan. I was going to teach him to be a worthy patriarch and leave after he was ready. Me, Lucca and the others would then have our own hotel...maybe travel the world for awhile."
He said with a frown, "Yet I remember that you wanted to be the leader." He crossed his arms while looking at her.
She pouted, "That was before those, pigheaded elders kept saying 'no' to all of my ideas. Claiming it was against some ancestors rules; time moves on so, why can't we? It isn't like it's the era that our clan was hiding from the Yellow Emperor and we had to be nomadic."
Indra and Asura had moved behind her and glanced at each other. They decided to stay quiet and pretend not to hear what was said.
Her father scolded, "Liara Marie Amagi, what did I tell you about respecting your elders?"
She tensed as her full name was said, "That, I should respect them because, they are either wiser or has higher power or status."
She then muttered, "Even though they don't contribute to the clan and deserve it." She was pouting a bit before Asura moved to tackle her away from the window before a sniper bullet shot through the window and hit her dad's chest.
She made an off as she fell, "Dad!" She panicked a bit before she calmed down as she felt Asura holding her close to him. She quickly said, "Indra, can you catch that sniper? Asura, drag dad away from the window."
The two said, "Yes Ma'am." Indra seemed to disappear from his spot as he ran to catch the assassin.
