The door to her grandpa's home hadn't slammed shut before Albert went straight to business. "I'm only going to ask this once," he said. "And for once, I do hope you tell me the truth."
Kyla's mouth goes dry. "Okay..." She dropped her purse and keys on a table by the entrance door. "I'm guessing this has something to do with the Delano fiasco yesterday?"
He nodded. "Yes. I have a couple of questions."
"Right. Err.." she scratched her head. "I'll need a drink for this one. Do you want anything?"
He shook his head. "No, thank you."
