Kyla glanced at the clock, watching as the minute hand slowly changed. She wasn't usually the impatient type, but their mission tonight was anchored on timing. After her dinner with Albert, she had excused herself to return to the garage they'd been hiding out in earlier in the day. 

She moved towards a broken-down window in the garage and glanced outside. There was still no sign of the wolves she was expecting. 

Delano grunted. "What the hell are you waiting for exactly? The wind would completely rid the atmosphere of every trace of her soon."

Kyla sighed, stepping away from the window. "I'll need something that belongs to her, a piece of clothing, something from her room. Until I have it, we can't proceed."
