Kyla sighed heavily. His words were supposed to comfort her but it only made her wonder if the same would apply to her when he eventually uncovers all her lies. Of course, she had a good reason, she had to protect her kind. But would he understand? Albert snaked his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him.
"Enough of that now," he said and pressed a small kiss on her lips. She giggled.
Albert ran his hand through her silky hair. What was it about her that all he could think about doing was touching her? Feeling the smooth texture of her skin, sliding his fingers through her hair, he simply did not think that he would ever get enough of her. Tilting her head, he nipped at her earlobe before trailing kisses down her neck. He hugged her closer when she sighed in contentment.
"What was it you wanted to discuss?" he felt her body tense and pulled back slightly. "What's it about?"
"Err, did you meet with that girl today? ....Liya?"
