Chapter 154 - CHANGE

Wano Country, 1 year later.

The Holy Land War, that's how the war in Mary Geose was named.

Many things had happened in one year.

The burial of the greatest hero of the Marines, Garp the Fist.

Garp was laid to rest with the highest honors ever given to anyone, surpassing even Sengoku the Buddha's funeral.

A new honorary medal was created in his honor within the new military organization of the Marines, his organization Sword was named the highest-ranking special force, equipped with the best resources that could be provided to a governmental organization.

All of Garp's family members were there, his grandsons Ace and Luffy, Makino who was very dear to Garp, his son Monkey D. Dragon, and his wife San Carlota, as well as all of his students.

Even his most hated enemies were present, the remnants of the Roger Pirates.

All the great kings from around the world were in attendance, and representatives of all human sub-species were among the people.

Garp was buried on Dawn Island, specifically in Foosha Village, which was designated as the new holy land.

The same kingdom was declared the capital of the new world government.

Luffy had reached Laugh Tale (Raftel), the final island, and discovered Gol D. Roger's treasure.

Meanwhile, Ace joined forces with Dragon to steer the world in a new direction, realizing that he could never exact revenge on Katahara for Whitebeard's death.

Ryu took the lead in the new government, which no longer demanded tribute or total subjugation from other countries.

Instead, it adopted a more democratic approach and established the One Piece United Nations (ONU).

All the countries from around the world decided to join, except for Wano Country.

Little was known about Wano, and even the events on the surrounding islands remained a mystery.

Ryu wasn't concerned about that; he knew that Katahara had no intention of opposing the new government since they had had a conversation and reached an agreement.

Meanwhile, inside Wano.

All the commanders were gathered in the meeting room, alongside the high-ranking lords and the Chief Fabricator, awaiting Katahara's arrival.

A total of 16 people were in that meeting room, 10 commanders, the 5 high-ranking lords, and the Chief Fabricator.

Until the entrance door opened, and Katahara walked in.

Katahara: I apologize for keeping you waiting... Let's begin the final meeting.

Ragnar: Training alone isn't enough to rule.

Boa Hancock: What is the news you've been eager to share?

Causing confusion among everyone.

Katahara: The time has come for me to leave this world...
